Thanks for sharing this video. I have a recording of this tune from the Ronnie Scotts club (Milt Buckner, Tony Crombie and Illinois). Illinois came to my high school and sat beside me at jazz band rehearsal back around 1976. What a thrill.

That's a great record! ... Really interesting: Illinois plays almost the same exact solo here as he does on that record.

God Jazz is just the bomb!!!

I just love the interplay of the musicians IN Jazz: back and forth, accent here, drum-kick there. And the humor that exists. I just get a smile on my face and burst out laughing anytime I hear something like this!! I can't help myself and neither can you I bet!!! Thankyou, thankyou for this!!

Find a compilation called "Tenor Titans". It has this on it and believe it or not it's even better IMO!!
