good video, I have become to get interested in the environment again after realising i dont want to act like its the industrial revolution any more, the golden age has past, the only direction is down.
I think the best way to make a healthier environment would be to eat everything in the world and shit it out so the entire planet would be made of nothing but shit!!!!!!
Vinyl 2010 has launched a multimedia competition as part of its Sustainable Thinking Platform and we think this is a cool video that could be posted there. Registration is free and we have more than 2,000 euros in prizes!
"We make nature abide by our own rules." Please explain how this is possible. I admit that we redirect energies and move matter around. The energies are nature's energies, the matter too belongs to nature. We, as living natural organisms, are also encapsulated in nature. In order to make nature "abide by our rules" we would somehow need to escape nature itself and manipulate it, which is not possible. Necessarily we abide by nature's rules.
look at the pictures after the vid says "we make nature abide by our own rules" it shows pics of trees planted in a perfectly straight line and trees that were made to look like cilinders. the trees are not allowed to grow in a different shape or pattern, as if it is some kind of "rule".
@harbach do you not think that maybe they mean instead of humans suiting to their environment we change the environment to suit us? As in "I want a supermarket, let's chop down that forest, done (Y)"
@harbach This is what turns people off to any sort of support they may have had to take measures to protect the earth. This non targeted, psuedo-sceince, mother earth nonsense. Pick ONE environmental issue and actually learn something about it. Then you can make a logical argument and cause change.

2:19 People, CO2 is not a toxin ! It's essential part of the air, as it is the "food" of plants - too low levels of CO2 cause even death of plants.
Watch out for stupid pieces of information.
