"To cling onto the visage of that man for so long... No, no, I just don't see it at all. Tell me why! Answer me!" Is what she says to Nightmare before you fight her. It may not be exact, but it's from what I remember. I haven't played SC in a loooong while.

Its not true in Soul Calibur 3, but in Soul Calibur 4, (which isn't bad but they should have had story mode the same as 3...) when using Kilik, in the fight before the boss, Tira reveals that Maxi is the new host of Soul Edge (then giggles like some sort of freaky gremlin that sounds awesome)
