A Jewish native of Palestine from 2000 years ago would've been fairly short of stature, fairly dark-skinned with dark hair. He would have spoken Aramaic, a Semitic language related to Arabic and Hebrew. He was not white. It shows how religion is mostly wishful thinking. Intellectually, they are children. They've been indoctrinated, brain-washed, etc. Psychologically, some of them can never be 'saved'. I don't think it's RIGHT to shield a childs ear from 'older speech', but sometimes it's NECESSARY. This doesn't mean we refrain from saying it, we just don't let Al-Jazeera have it.

Islam has a ban on making religious images like this, which has lead to some great art and architecture btw. Perhaps Christians have had years to get used to the fact that these are just images. Familiarity has bled them of their woo.
