@xaviervandepoll Before any other people keep commenting on the quality im just going to get this out of the way, my first 3 videos were recorded with a crappy camera without any direct input. I do agree the quality was bad. it sounded 10 times better live. check out my new videos, i now use a much better hd camera with direct input so it looks much better and its not the camera input picking up the sound. Just thought I'd clear that up with you guys! :)

You've really got to watch the scratches and squeaks when you're distorting mate, around 3:40 it's basically not heard as notes. If you don't have distortion then you really need to watch your tone production 'cause it sounds distorted.

Yah i know what you mean. That part around 3:40 is the hardest to get right on violin because the amount of string crossing that you have to do quickly. And yes the whole time I had distortion on so that contributed to the scratches at 3:40 it wasn't just me XD

yes. it's a common problem when distorting anything, you just try speaking through a distortion unit some time. Over time you learn what techniques sound best and what will muddy it up.
