You only know half of Silent Robs bullshit. I actually gave him 5 dollars, because despite how stupid the whole thing was i was thinking the website would have been worth it. The forums have been down for weeks and i know they won't be back up, and the videos he does have on his site are like 2 minutes and their shit.
As far as the website goes I think it was mishandled form the get go. Looking at the state of the site now it's clear that not enough content was present to make the venture worthwhile. If Rob had made a back log of content then the site would have went off much smoother.
At present, there have been no updates in days and much of the site is broken. The whole thing feels very slapped together.
I don't think Rob is a "criminal", I think he was just very unprepared to launch the site.
I really think Rob is his own worst enemy. His tendency to lash out against criticism is mostly self destructive. I can understand why he reacts in such a way, but consistent aggressiveness just turns people away.
I find Rob to be a funny guy and when his attention is in making videos then the results are usually great. But has of late it seems he spends a big chunk of his time responding to his haters with more hate. The best thing he could do to silence critics is focus on making videos.
