I loved this show so much. I wanted a Robotman doll, but my parents got me Oops instead. Of course I don't have it anymore, but I do have the Robotman I bought off ebay when I hit my early 20's.  :)

I had the red and yellow Robotman doll, when I was a kid. Loved it. One of my absolute favorite childhood toys. Until the day in '97, when my shit-headed ex-boyfriend pulled the toy's head off. I was so upset. Even tried to super-glue the head back on, in a desperate attempt to fix it. No dice. I was even more upset when I had no choice, but to throw it away. A precious childhood memory down the drain, because of one stupid douchebag. : (

I remember watching this as a kid. It only came on once as some kind of special when I watched it. You know how it was back then if there was cartoons on at night that was something special. I'm 34 so that was quite awhile ago.

I think it's just certain kinds of music, like the other robots' happier cheerful sincere heartfelt etc. type of music. Like how the enemies of the care bears tend to "hate" feeling warm and squishy, or a hardcore death metal freak forced to listen to Raffi--a mental aversion. Roberon's atonal little off-key flute "song" probably doesn't qualify.

Wait, why am I seriously dissecting this decades old children's show?

We had all 4 Robot Man toys growing up. My mom got them because she knew we liked robots, even though we never heard of the show. Eventually we came across a rental place that had this on VHS. Is this the only episode?

No matter. It's 80s awesome.

After seeing this, I remember totally wanting a Roberon or Bleep toy.

OMG, This was my favorite cartoon when I was like 6 yrs old...My niece is 8 and I've told her about this. Been wanting to show it to her but can't find my vhs. Thanx so much for posting. Now I can show her.
