This isn't really as convenient as Simcity. First, they would have to build the power plant that would do the actual conversion. That would probably take a couple months at best. Then, they would have to hire people to transport the trash to the plant. The regular garbage collectors are on strike anyways so who's going to do the dirty work?

I don't think so. I'm Italian and I can say that there are still fascists in Italy but I there are also people who fight against them. And then, I have to say that Italy is the country with most spectacular things in it from art to music, from food to history, football and language. If you've said those things it means that you're jealous and nothing else!

This isn't really as convenient as Simcity. First, they would have to build the power plant that would do the actual conversion. That would probably take a couple months at best. Then, they would have to hire people to transport the trash to the plant. The regular garbage collectors are on strike anyways so who's going to do the dirty work?

Italy needs a revolution.
The garbage situation portrayed in the video has been going on for over a decade, the result of the worst kind of corruption and is controlled by criminals. These mountains of trash are in in the region of Campania, which is like it's own country, separate from the rest of Italy - only it is attached at the breast and is sucking the life force and rescources from the rest of the country.

I lived in Tokyo, Japan, and they have the most garbage per square mile on the planet (since its the most densly populated country on the planet) and I used to bitch about having to separate all the garbage into categories! I won't ever complain about that again! Anyway they compress garbage and have extended shorelines all over the place! Italy come on!!! Wake up!!! this is a disaster!

When I saw this video I almost cried :(, I am from Puerto Rico and I've seen many beautiful pictures from Italy and heard from my father what a beutiful country it is, and this situation really saddens me, must be really hard for Italians :(. What also saddens me is that what is happenning in Italy may happen soon here in Puerto Rico as all the landfills are almost at their full capacity :(
