I have just three wishes:

- less bugs than in SoC/CS

- all territories from SoC/CS available, PLUS these new ones.. I want a large game

- easy to mod like previous two games :)

The only correct answer in this sea of trash is that S.T.A.L.K.E.R. could not run on a console. Reason simply being that the game would change so much. Not because of graphics but moreso because of the feel. On top of that, there's too many buttons and it really does require a mouse-keyboard to play. If it were to be on consoles, it would be EXTREMELY dumbed down, just like BioShock was to System Shock. I'm not calling out any consoles, just saying that this particular game wouldn't be the same

The target audience for this game is eastern-european gamers, 99% of whom are of the PC-playing variety. Development for a console already takes enough money as it is, the development kit is expensive, and months of play-testing, and porting would kill the company's budget, so the feel is the least of the dev's concerns. Also RE4 did an RPG system like Stalkers no probs on a console.

Killzone 2 is not even close to the best game graphically. Crysis and Crysis Warhead are many leagues above and beyond anything out there today, even after two years since the release of Crysis. Also, as stated by someone previous, Killzone is a very linear game. Where as games like STALKER and Crysis are vast and open ended, with top notch visuals. Farcry 2 was open ended, but not top notch graphics. Good, but not that great. Consoles could never handle this without major popup issues.

LukusCseh your right. But Cryengine 3 is now able to run on Consoles. So you can expect to see Crysis Like graphics on the PS3 and Xbox, but also expect huge performance gains for PC users as well. If you ran Crysis at 50FPS at all high expect that to double.

WOW I love how people don't understand how things works!! damn killzone is FIRST and GODDAMN linear shooter so everything is predictable it is a lot easier to save FPS like this, second STALKER as a lot of lightning option this is why it would work on ps3 it is a real ressource hungry game and the ps3 just can't take it. There so much texteures too the ps3 only have 256mb off vRAM so it won'T be able to handle this unless it's scaled down to 640X480 (my bad KILLZONE ISN'T RUNNING IN HD TOO)

The only reason that Ps3 is thought to have better graphics than a PC is because its compared to absolute shit rigs.
