Why would you put hardline on? Yea, you get a perk after one kill but there is no reason you can't just select that 4th perk because you have assassin, which is the same slot. The way hardline is effective with the specialist strike package is in a class where you need 2 perk 1's or 2 perk 2's, example a sound whore would have sitrep pro or sead silence and their 4th perk be the one they don't start with. So yea use assassin right away and not have to get a kill to earn it.
