I use these for every laceration and have not had any durability issues. Some of my partners take them from my locker so the loupes have become general ED property. One thing that I would change in the review is the use of the ear holders. They are essential. I lost one and now have cloth tape around the ends of the side bars so they don't slip off.
I bough a "clip on" version of these from the same company. I could only see if it was16-20 centimeters from my face. Far too close. I bought the clip on because of my astigmatism. I might try the strap on Dr. Orman shows. Don't even try the clip ons from the company. They just won't work in the ER unless you want to be super close.
I this was a review for dental loupes... but great vid none the less. thumbs up!
