The last Riot Grrl album got swallolwed by pop acts and an international preoccupation with sex symbols/pop "singers" whose only concern is money (and brainwashing our generation with an imageof what the hell beauty is suppossed to be). It seems women had FINALLY reached a high point on the equality scale, and then society collectvely said "fuck this!" and began the culture pollution. Sex sells is there motto. Depressing, yes, but nothing a TD album can't fix! And lots of chocolate.
@JurricaChiannaNycole Well, if there was a beauty contest between Jody Bleyle and (I don't know) the sexiest pop/trash popstar that ever walked in the planet I'd choose Jody for sure! Team Dresch and Jody (when she was in Hazel) were not seen very well in the 90's, often the crowd was swearing at their concerts only because they dressed and looked like men. I think what would happen if some popstars nowaday were injured at their shows, surely they wouldn't have the strenght to go on!
@ombelicodivenere Fucking hilarious! I bet some of them would be contemplating suicide at the prospect of having to actually have TALENT for people to come to their shows since cast are not "in". Mabey the Gaga freak could bring it in. (can't belive the vegans have assaniated her after wearing that meat dress to the awards.....mabey soon....???)
@JurricaChiannaNycole Fuck Glee. This is what I had when I was 14 and troubled. I feel bitter and I'm sorry. The best thing about glee is Jane Lynch. I'd rather watch Best In Show and listen to Personal Best any day. this really makes me mad. 10 pound bags of ice being thrown at me? Priceless.
