you need light chassis + around 400-500whp to 10´s. Anyway... all this power is unless in FWD. I have P10 AWD for future project, thats a way to go. :)

Fair enough then. Did the X-Trail GT only come with automatic transmissions or did they have manual gearboxes as well?

Also, is there a GT version of the new T31 X-Trail?

One thing I don't understand: why would Nissan revert back to the older SR20 turbo engine, and enhance it with VVL to create the fastest X-Trail? Couldn't they turbocharge the newer QR20 or QR25 engine? Are they implying that the newer QR series engines aren't as robust as the old SR?

SR is much better, but QR are cheaper to be made.

The original 42 second video was much better, actually showed the scenery flying past above the dash for the whole video too.

X-Trail GT also came with standard X-trail brakes but the 350Z Brembo 324mm discs and 4 piston calipers fit without any problems.

276Hp from a turbo 1998cc 4cyl engine with only 6psi boost. 18psi was a lot more fun.

i suppose that since the engine is tuned for an SUV, it may be tuned for low end torque instead of high end acceleration.

i tried my friends 2.0 (3 years ago) and i tried 2.5, really big difference!

my fren just brought a new nismo x-trail 2.5, where got sport rims, skirtings, aluminium racing pedals and so on. He brought about RM16x,xxx (about USD$515xx.xx) and we test 0-220++. Very good!

Is the only difference between the GT and normal X-Trail the SR20VET? Or is there some other differences aswell?

The brakes and suspension are better on the GT. The GT also has aluminium racing pedals! They make it go faster - honest!
