Direct Repair Program Shops hold 100% responsibility for keeping labor rates unfairly low.
Although many body shops can or will give a discount, they have a choice and serve their customers wishes not serve the "master". Because DRP's agree to labor & material concessions all (Independent) body shops suffer. The low rates and standards become the "Prevailing rate" and standards set by Insurance companies not Real Professionals. DRP's are actually "Direct Control Program" Shops. Not Good!
If you want to the best Body Shop work for your vehicle then head on over to Precision Bodyshop Corp located at 906 Shadick Dr. Orange City, FL 32763 and their telephone number is 386 774 1948. They are ASE, I-Car certified and only use DuPont products. The official paint of Nascar.
The "professional" solution keeping the insurance companies from voicing suggestions on repairs and fix the vehicles properly. Not work within insurance companies guidelines. Insurance companies have no license to repair vehicles, no hands-on knowledge of repairing vehicles, and therefore should NOT be allowed to steer anyone into a DRP program. Think saftey. Think Quality. Think about where and how your hard earned cash is going... A quality auto repair shop doesn't need to be a DRP shop.
