This show was great. It's actually the better half of the 30 years of Maximum RnB 2disc DVD. This rendition of Drowned is by far my favorite (vs the album and Pete's acoustic) which are both amazing anyways.

watched this gig live on TV in 81 on BBC old grey whistle test. 15 years old I was and gobsmacked. never knew a smack in the gob could last nearly 30yrs. Pure nostalgia for me this.
I have always said who history is unkind to Kenny Jones. Does anyone doubt THE WHO best live act ever!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I LOVE this song, it's so underrated, and it's even better live. Wish Roger could have been on acoustic or something, though.
