Yeah, its not a V6, but flat 6, F6. It is different. V6 shares the crank pin between 2 pistons, while a Boxer engine has a pin for each piston or something like that.

In an H6 like the Legacy 3.6, the pistons are positioned 180 degrees from each other, and not staggered, meaning the pistons are directly opposite one another in each bank of 3.

In V6 configurations, they are generally 120 (flattest, but not flat), 90, or 60 (most narrow) degrees apart.

Major advantages of the H configuration are fewer moving parts, the internal lubrication is much easier to maintain, along with a much lower center of gravity.

Dude, how come? Why would they lie? But didn't Legacies use to have 6 cylinder engines?

BTW It's my dream to work for SUBARU especially with their engines because those are my favorite cars and engines simply are my life!!! I can not judge about a car before I haven't determined what's under the hood. Hope you can give me a tip sometime in how to get there. :)
