Make Lian go as far to the right of the pitching mound as possible and just bean every one of your players until she let up 10 runs and the game was called. Took about 3 minutes to generate hundreds of thousands of dollars. Repeat and buy veterans.
@toughman527 im sure you could find a copy of the orginal NES cart on ebay or in a local used game shop, hopefully they will eventually put it on the Virtual Console for Wii but Im not sure if licesnceing issues would allow for that

this game needs to be on virtual console of the Nintendo Wii to download. not Baseball Stars 2. I demanded it on the virtual console. It was a great game on NES. I wish they make a Baseball Stars 3 or something with 3-D graphics on like Xbox Live Arcade , Playstation Network, or Virtual Console. That would be cool. Awesome game.

if you would read the comments you would see that many people have fond memories of this game, many of us enjoy the old school games just as much as the new stuff and feel that old school should be preserved you tube is one way to do that...
yeap i would cheat and hit the ladies on purpose and use two controllers and make them hit me and the ten run rule would kick in. I also would by a baseball girl who was worth i think 10million dollars after i saved all my money. Traded for players for other teams with a higher overall points for players with lower point until nobody had less than 89 overall. God i miss this game. i still have my nintendo.

Holy crap it was hilarious to read this because I have the exact same strategy with the Pete/Jacks/Johnny/Lou replacement....However, Pete can sometimes be reliable when pinching for the pitcher...I use Eddy sometimes too, he has good power.
get a guy on first...ad go to pick him off...then play catch with your pitcher and first basemen...and keep playing catch a close distance...then the first basemen bombs it into the stand behind the 3rd basemen...then you usually have to reset the game

Cam Studio sucks ass, It always makes the videos choppy. Anyways, this is a very fun game, ahead of its time but still a great game. Especially for a ancient system like NES.
Yes I havnt been impressed at all with Cam Studio for a couple reasons it doesnt directly export the videos properly (i have to take them into windows movie maker and put them together) and it seems slow and choppy alot....oh well its free and it does what I need
The best baseball game I ever played until MLB Power Pros. This game was super hard for me to beat, and it was the only game I'm aware of that made you pay for missing the cut off man, with the runner taking an extra base. This game was truly a well thought out and fun game to play.
this game was seriously like 20 years ahead of its time... lol.... keeping stats, buying and selling players and stuff, schedules... changing names etc. i would literally sit there for hours and make teams and trade people w/ high max points to my team and eventually build up their power up stats.
And 1 time ... the game glitched and gave me infinite money... no game genie or anything and i had a team full of all star players that cost like millions of bucks... it was insane but then the game like reset itself and all was lost : /
ME TOO EH. Summer of 90 19 years old just finished my soph year in College and played this game till 3 am got up at 6 am to go to work. Get off work at 3 pm get back home and play this till 3 am again. WOW THE MEMORIES!!!
