@iceblue4u Yes, but boxers are also superbly conditioned to take a hit. Average joe is not that well conditioned. And boxers dont' have to consider that a lethal weapon may come into play. You dont' want to go into trapping/grappling range unless you have to because it gets very nasty in there.

feet, knees, elbows and hands. i suppose theres nine as there is the head also which you can use for head buts or biting. hope that helped

The eight tools that Paul Vunak is referring are eight different techniques: The eye-jab, the ear-slap, the elbow strike, the knee strike, the headbutt, the whip kick, the oblique kick and the bite.

Step in the ring... There you go making violence into a sport again. you believe thats how violence begins right, I say something bad about your mom and then we sqaure off and assume our stances.I hear all this talk about how good paul is and thats ok but what about the people he teaches who are not blessed with super human speed, don't be amazed by what the teacher can do. oh and another thing you don't realise and that is that poke in the eye works on paul just as everyone else.

I don't know which was funnier his knife defence vid or this one. From what I was taught and found to be true is that there are only 2 ranges in fighting, and they are 1. I hav'nt hit you yet and 2. POW! I've hit you. those are the only ranges I know of
