  • Who here wishes we could undo time and some how stop the Titanic from sinking?

  • OMG!!!!!!!!!! How were they not scared to get on that? it's like a million tons. That's weird how that boat sunk.

  • itz juhzt a boat #juhzt sayin nun special abt it

  • Still the most beautiful ship to this day.

  • que pena que ele não chegou a Nova York

  • es la cancion m,as bella k a existido

  • what would have happen if carpathia wasnt there?

  • @legomaster335 I hate to think of that. They would have floundered for a long time, anyway.

What angers me is the lack of response on behalf of the captian of the Californian. He saw the distress rockets and did nothing. I don't get it.

  • The titanic sank because the iceberg over flooded 6 if it flooded 4 it could go on and it just set sailed it was nearly near new york .

It was called the ship of dreams the titanic was unsinkable altough loads of people died because of that accident and now it stil remains in people's heart the ship still remains at the bottom of the alantic ocean loads of people have discovered

  • the reason captain john smith didnt leave because he loves her and he would never want to be apart so he went down with the ship cause he calls it her wife

  • most complete edit of original "news footage" of the disaster I've ever seen. Thanks for sharing.

  • this is the sister of the titanic the olympic

  • Actually the titanic was sank on purpose. There were a bunch of wealthy bankers on board who had the power to prevent the formation of the federal reserve and a bank monopoly . This was a way to execute them.Thats why the women and the children wre allowed to leave. I'll find the video and post it.

  • @tbursee ????

  • this song is so sad..and it sounds like nothing but death comin around of of enything

  • That sad makes me sad because of the song and the actual footage

  • Just found all this Titanic stuff this morning. This is a great video, Thanks !

I am very intrigued by the story. Perhaps I was there in a previous life? Can't explain it quite

  • lol ships gust cant stop dead in its tracks well not this 1 anyways i fell like i was in a history musiem

  • thank you for uploading this real footage of the titanic. I have never seen before till today. Thank you very much again.

  • wat a disaster............. all bcoz of those two bastards

  • that isnt the titanic but it is still nice to know people are paying respects to THE TITANIC

  • The press originally gathered to film the incoming Titanic as it entered the harbor. Instead, they ended up filming the Carpathia bringing home the survivors. As far as i know, there are only 3 films of the Titanic.

  • "When anyone asks me how I can best describe my experience in nearly forty years at sea, I merely say, uneventful. Of course there have been winter gales, and storms and fog and the like. But in all my experience, I have never been in any accident or any sort worth speaking about. I have seen but one vessel in distress in all my years at sea. I never saw a wreck and never have been wrecked nor was I ever in any predicament that threatened to end in disaster of any sort."

    -Captain E.J. Smith

  • There were several accounts of premonitions by passengers and families before the ship even sailed. Blame the ignorance of mankind. At the time over exceeding lifeboats was not necessary for luxury liners. It just wasn't common for such disasters to take place, therefore they denied the possible.

  • yea no kidding

the smart thing to do was to stop and wait til morning and then continue on to new york,

everyone was soo obsessed about thinking that the ship was unsinkable that they Ignoranly ignored the Ice warning and growler's,

and tyhey were going at to high a speed to stop a ship that long and heavy,

And with that small of rudder to be able to turn anyway,

    what a sad thing!

  • no guy,

STUPID BRUCE ISMAY FOR trying to pressure the captain to fire the other boiler,s to get to new york quicker to make it in the paper's,

Ismay had no regard for the passengers or others,

    self centered little nerd,

as his dad was owner of the Company that built the 3 liners,

    Harland and Wolff,

so what does he care about anything?

He's just along for the first ride.

    arrogant little tuss,

  • hey dnt blame him he dnt no he was going to die that night plus he dnt think that anything was going to happen he made a mistake leave him alone, he did the right thing he went down with the ship!

  • Como coisas tão simples como icebergues,e pequenos erros humanos podem originar um desastre tão grande.

Que haja respeito por estas imagens .

Que descansem em paz os que perderam a vida neste acidente.

  • :O............................

  • I wish the Titanic would still be here and we could visit her and walk on her decks.

  • stupid ice berg.... such a terrible thing :( god bless the titanic

  • great video thanks for sharing wow so amazing the video fotage

  • Rest In Peace Thomas Andrews, Captain Edward Smith

    And R.M.S Titanic.

  • Amen to That Exactly,

It wasnt andews fault at all for the shortage of lifeboat's,

It was the old ignorant regulations in the ship building industry back then that went by the tonnage of a ship and not by the passenger count,

    really dumb rule's,

  • Comment removed

  • Captain Smith and Thomas Andrew made a good choice. They didn't leave their ship of dreams. When I will design a ship, and it will sink I will be go down with it to. Rest in peace Captain Smith, and sorry for the Titanic that didn't reach New York. :'C

  • THANK YOU so much for posting this. Really, this is amazing, I couldn't thank you enough for sharing it.

  • this ship is big enough to fit millions of ppl not in the thousands u kno how little dat us come on use ur brain

  • Captain Smith may have been found not guilty of causing the collision in 1912 but nowadays the concensus of opinion is that he was 100% responsible because he did not give the order to slow down or even stop (like some ships in the area) despite numerous iceburg warnings. It was gross neglect of duty and his statue in `honerable` memory of him is an insult to those who died at his hand.

  • but in those times, some ships did drive into the darkness without a worry, nowadays we would'nt, it would be common sence, anyway Smith was under pressure from Ismay.

  • @MrAnders12345 By the same token I think Bruce Ismay was equally responsible for the ship's sinking. The nautical rules were in place and he kept pushing the envelope. Their inability to properly govern that vessel cost over 1500 lives. Only Mr. Ismay displayed the cowardice to board a life boat.

  • @94MaverickGT No there is a massive assurance fraud here read Titanic the ship that never sank by Robin GardinerThe owner of the ship JP MORGAN an american who owned imm owned harland and wolfe and he was putting together the steel cartel known as big steel they were going to use Titanic for carrying arms and troops to uk for ww1 which was imminent they swapped ships read the book regards

  • oh god its so beautiful i hate that ice berg

  • In my view Captain Smith was totally responsible for the sinking. As captain he allowed the ship to travel far too fast through an iceburg region which he new about after recieving numerous hand delivered telegraph warnings.

Also, he was responsible for ignoring more than half empty lifeboats being lowered.

It amounts to a gross dereliction of duty.

  • yes, but did you know in 1912, it was standard practise to travel at high speed through an ice field as to get through it as quickly as possible. Also, in the final verdict after the investigation, it was deemed that captain smith was seen as a hero - hence the statue to his legacy at a park in england.

  • the best

  • argentinian yes

  • Are you shure that's the Titanic? I think it's the Olympic.

  • Plz tell me is it the real video? Was the camera invented in that era?or its just a fake video.PLz reply

  • Yes there were film cameras in 1912 (film was invented in 1892). Yes, that is the real Carpathia and those are real films of the crew and survivors. The films of the "Titanic" however, whch were shown at the beginning, are actually films of her sister ship the Olympic.

  • ever seen silent films jeeze

  • makes me cry...

  • hoygan la bamba y titanic se parese mucho

  • Rest in Peace.

  • titanic are in atlantaik hav 4 ever :(

  • I often wonder if we still had Liners today with mondern advances if this would or could still happen. WE are often lax about air travel which proved to be fatal on 9/11.......and we were helpless still...

  • oops i mean!!!! NOMADIC! sorry sorry

    DANG!!

  • that is olympic and not titanic!!! if you know how they looked and if you know what the diferent between this two sisterships was you know it!!!

  • this is so great. the movie makes me cry. =(

  • thanks for showin me this vid l like it

  • ok... but this is not the Titanic... this is the Olympic or the Britanic

  • Comment removed

  • They had a choice. Die or Don't become a part of history. Which one would you choose?

  • its bigger than in the film it looks soooo big here O.O

  • Yes. In the film, they built smaller( a bit) than the real Titanic!

  • thats sooo hugeee...and it's so sad...

  • thnx :)

  • That was so beautiful thanks for posting

  • My Fathers Father was a part of building the ship and he was ask to go and work but he refused. That was before he was born.. his sisters were. Anyways, I'm native indian adopted into a wonderful irish family. that's why when History comes, i love history.

  • that was nice.

  • woww...unbeliavble footage

  • WOW!!!real titanic!!!

  • It was a great disaster and one that all should have survived from. This changed the laws so all boats had to carry lifeboats for all. The full story is quite harrowing. For all that lost their lives. God Bless.

For the survivors, it must have been so difficult to have gone on.

  • but even if there were enough boats, there wasnt enough time.

  • They had tons of time , but not enought boats, if the Calfornia had answered the flares all would have been saved. They had around 2 hrs, plenty of time.

  • erm no mate. They didn't even manage to launch all their lifeboats as it was. Plus you need good seaman for each of these boats, which there wouldn't have been enough of.

  • It struck the iceberg at 20 minutes before midnight on 14 April 1912 and sank two hours and 40 minutes later. The Unsinkable Sank.

The crew consisted of 913 persons

Tons of time, what they lacked was correct information.

  • Not enough time as it was - like i said they didn't manage to launch all the lifeboats.

I said good seamen - not all of that crew would've made good seamen.

  • They did have enough lifeboats that was the point and the first launch was under the impression that they were coming back, thats why they were only if even half full. They were under the belief the titanic was a life boat in its self, all very sad mistakes all souls could have been saved, good seamen or not. they only needed 2 per boat. There was enough men on boart to accomadate that. In an emergency anything goes. Fact was it was not equiped properly.

  • erm they didn't have enough lifeboats, the point is, even if they did, they wouldn't have been able to launch them all.

They were half full because people didn't believe the boat was actually sinking.

You forget that they actually need crew to lower these boats, of which there were not many.

  • Read the offical investigation transcripts, USA and UK. .

  • i have done, thank you very much.

  • Your orignal comment was.

There was not enough time.....there was.

The problem was, they all thought they were coming back on to the titanic, thats why the women got on in the sleep wear.

They didnt need crew to look after the boats, some experienced women too charge of their own boats. There was no water or bread lights put on most of the boats as they believed they were coming back in an hour or so. It was a shambles and not because of the crew or lack off.

  • there wasn't enough time. Theoritically, there might've been, but in reality there wasn't, and we're dealing with the reality here.

You need crew to lower the boats who are familiar with the davits on Titanic.

  • takes 90mins in rehearsal, there was no panic on the boat. Two men per boat to row, infact some were women as most of the boats were all women. Reality was, some bad decisions made. Not that they ran out of time.

  • but they did run out of time...

  • We will just have to agree to disagree,

  • well you say that they into the lifeboats under the impression they would return. That's true and that explains why some of the lifeboats were empty. It doesn't explain why some of the lifeboats were not launched though.

  • Because they delayed the launching of the 1st boat - no7 until an hour after they hit the ice. Bad decisions.

Titianic carried 20 lifeboats, enough for 1178 people.

  • well naturally they can't launch them straight away. There are procedures, the ship had to port round the iceberg, and close all the water tight doors. Carpenter had to sound the ship and the damage had to be assessed. They then had to get all the passengers on deck and uncover the lifeboats and prepare them to be launched.

  • As I said........lets agree to disagree.

  • well fair enough, thanks for the discussion.

  • heyyy guys, why are u being so hursh on katherine1246, she just posted the viedo nothing else... have some respect...!!

  • yeah right bin laden ASS HOLE

  • they is rumors saying that titanic didn't really sinck because the iceberg it was like bin ladens grandfather who planted a bomb in it

  • Riiight... Cause it's not like it's lying down there 2.5 miles under the ocean surface with a big gash in it's starboard side. Or like there were witness reports of ice on deck after the collision...

  • There's also a rumor that an Egyptian sarcophagus was on board with a curse on it. As well as one that it was really the Olympic that was sank on purpose, in order to get tax benefits they could not truthfully get on Olympic, due to it's prier damage.

These rumors have been disproved. It's just a way for humanity to place blame in something supernatural or say it didn't really happen at all. That way one doesn't have to fact the horrid reality that 1500 people went to their deaths that night.

  • Omg.... first at the film is the real titanic but in the end it fake.2m-3m its fake... f.u or its good but why fake it,,...

  • ok i juss put the video up here thinking it was the real titanic cause it looked real to me but if its not then its ok but dont have to go mad at me cause its not my video i'm srry if u got offended by it

  • i found a list, of the ones who died and the ones who survived on the internet at school once. your grandfather will be on there probs :).

amazin g video btw, i cried when u saw the grave things=0.

    xxx

  • That is not the Titanic. If you look at the Promenade of A-Deck. (the walking area) you will notice the entire length of the deck is open with a post every so often (it is open air deck). That is Olympic. In Titanic, the promenade of A-Deck is enclosed, with windows, for half the length of the ship. Titanic and Britannic had closed promenade decks.

  • The enclosed promenade was added as a modification later on, so it may be before that. Though the video is listed as being all 3 sister ships, not just Titanic.

  • i'm not being harsh lol its juss kinda hard 2 believe since it was such a long time ago thats all i didnt mean 2 b rude or anything

  • i never knew him my parents just told me why are you being harsh

  • wow she is to beautyful

  • Thanks for the post, this is excatly what I have been looking for. Many thanks!

  • Is it real? Was the camera invented in that era?

  • Of course it was you stupid CUNT !!

  • how do you know he died on that ship just cuz your dad told you so

  • first class??

    second class?

or third class was your father and what was his name??

  • third class name Albert Pearcey

  • mmm nope no sign of him...:/

  • unless his name is albert victor pearcey from third class hi was a pantryman

  • yup :) that's the guy

  • lol just put his name on google and there will be a pic of him

  • wow, I read a book about the Titanic wich was called, Titanic Crossing, and the main characters name was Albert! He did make it in the book! Did he make it in real life?

  • titanic crossing is a fictonal it sais on the book

  • According to the encyclopedia-titanica, Albert Victor Pearcey helped lead groups of third class passengers up to the boat deck and survived the sinking in Collapsible boat C. He also testified at the British Inquiry into the sinking.

  • im sorrry i dont think your mom would be that old lol and u would probably be like what in ur fiftys

  • oh sorry i thought u said grandfather my mistake

  • My great grandfather and his brother was on the Titanic. He didnt stay on it too long though, he got off at Cobh when it came back to Ireland. He was actually heading for America, but he couldn't stand the crew members. He said that they were very rude and ignorant so he decided to come back home.

  • is that the real titanic and is there a real love story on it ????

  • i think it is the real titanic well it says it is but i'm not 2 sure tho and iunno if theres a real love story on the real boat but there is for the movie titanic

  • There are always love stories going on. But the one they used in the movie was not real. Also that is bot the real titanic' the real titanic had 4 Smoke stacks and only 2 flagpoles. i know. i have brothers.

  • Rose and Jack are obviously fiction, but they did find a J. Dawson on the manifest.

  • You are welcome this is very cool!

  • I cried watching =(

  • my cousin died on the boat. sob

  • Yeah how?

  • cry cry cry! Im sorry that some people died! Cry cry cry cry cry cry cry! But some people cursed it by saying it wont sink! Cry cry cry cry cry cry cry cry cry cry! WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!

  • thnx for putting my video under ur favourite video and thnx for the comments :P

  • Actually, it was the press that started that. They never said it was "Unsinkable." An article advertising the water tight doors and compartments made it "PRACTICALLY Unsinkable."People just assumed that practically unsinkable was just as good as unsinkable. But it was never even once stated as being "unsinkable" by anyone who worked on or owned the ship itself. And it did not even gain the reputation of being unsinkable until after it sank. Also, a 'curse' isn't what sank it. Just human error.

  • wow i was amazed

  • Everything that happend on the Titanic is just so sad. =(

I love how they made the movie, letting you fall in love with the characters, so that when Rose lost Jack, you could feel her pain. =(

I have a beatiful heart shaped music box that when ever I open it, it plays this song.

I adore it, and my dad gave it to me when I Was a baby. =)

  • Where you find it? :-)

  • i went to google and found it sumwhere there i cant remember exactly where tho

  • this makes me so sad, i wish to GOD that these people have come to a better place :(:(:
