ik how the mag works but when i use my gun it will only shoot once then i have to wind it a lot.at this point i just turn my gun upside down cause the guns im going up against high cap mags work...
will the g36 aeg magazines fit the g36 double eagle gun? because it says no where on any website and i brought a mag for a gun before and it didnt work
Thanks for this, it helps me to remember the order to loading and winding..
A few days ago I was testing my M14's hi-cap and the magazine wasn't loading bbs into the gun. I would load the magazine, put it in, and then start winding. Hopefully that was the reason behind the jam because I don't want to have to crack open the gun and fix it or oil it...
Does anyone else have experience with this problem? I haven't tested my M14 for a while either, could the gearbox just be a bit sticky?

@thepivotmasterofdoom It's most likely the hicap mag. Reset the spring and it should work but note that you will not be able to feed all bbs into the gun as it is a hicap.... I would say that you should just buy a midcap as they are way more reliable.
If your hi-cap doesn't work one option you can try is hitting the mag against your hand or something it's worth a shot every time my mag malfunctions i just hit it and it starts working again
I have played airsoft for about 4 years now ive had plenty of high cap mags i have 7 guns all AEG's with FPS above and tested above 370 fps, but i recently got a new with a 470 cap mag, however then i load the mag and use the wheel nothing ever reaches the top, after searching through the mag with a flashlight (without taking anything apart) i noticed nothing is moving? others see my concern i have no winding notch, and it is a G36 mag if anyone can help send an e-mail to
if you just wind a high cap all the way you can empty all 300 BBs on 1 wind-up THEN reload not shoot some - wind - shoot some - wind - shoot some - wind and so on
if you just wind a high cap all the way you can empty all 300 BBs on 1 wind-up THEN reload sot shoot some - wind - shoot some - wind - shoot some - wind and so on
i've always felt that it's important to have a bunch of mid caps, as all you have to to is change mags for 130 rounds, and one or two high caps wen the mids are empty.
This helped alot, but there is one thing i still wanna know....if i wind it up til its pretty difficult to wind it up any more, do i then have the ability to fire more bullets or does it fire the same amount as when if wind up up til it clicks? Please help me out :)

I have found that some hi cap mags have a small spinning wheele inside of them that keeps feeding the spring bb's as long as the gun is vibrating. So as long as I keep thoes kind, I will always go for the hi-caps. But I have always been courius about how it would feel to play with 30 round low caps. Guess I'll never know.......
@carnage49 you'll have the actual feeling of combat depending on ur situation in the field.
worst case scenario; you are in a lockdown spot(no where else to hide) and you cant get out without getting shot, you dont know how much you have in ur last lowcap, and then you feel like you are screwed.
lol mid caps are good for more of a realism type and when you finish with the magazine, you'll never have any bbs inside your magazine, as of a high cap, i find it a pain to have sicne you have extra bbs you'll most likely NEVER use for the rest of the game unless you have a highcap spring shot gun. high caps are more of a "sound maker" because of their left over bbs. mid caps you have to carry a hell load since you need mroe ammo if you're a crazy firing type of person
I messed up my spring slightly, and emptied the mag. When I put in more pellets, the wind was still "full" and no new pellets can get to where they can get into the gun...What do i do!!??
Hey, ive always used High Cap Magazines, and i was wondering why you would want a Mid Cap, seeing as it has less capacity. I just dont understand it, if anyone could answer thatd be great! thanks!

@parvussedpotens they aren't, just the feed spring can only hold about half to 3/4 the amount of the mid cap magazines, but after u shoot those out, you can rewind more BBs from the internal hopper... so yes the mid caps can shoot more at once, but hicap mags hold much more
there are actually a lot of new-to-airsofters that are unaware of the high capacity magazines- i'm sure these videos would educate and help new players understand the general mechanics of an AEG.
When I first started airsofting, I didn't know what the differences was between the 2 til a friend showed me. They aren't hard to understand (5 secs to learn) but newbies wouldn't know how they worked without someone showing them.
Most good hicaps actually come with instructions. My TM AK47 mag actually had instructions on how to use it. Also, after just messing with a hi-cap for about 2 minutes you can figure out how to use it.
@godsairsofters Then how would there ever be anyone playing airsoft? I'm sure there was some point in your life where you couldn't use a high cap. Of course those new to airsoft or just new to high caps won't know how to properly use them, there's nothing wrong with that.
Actually the little 2000 round .12 bottles from walmart work best just fill em full of matrix .20's and the little nozzle at the top works great for m4 high caps. Also my .50 ammo can works good too.
u can get a speedloader from amazon for 2$ the exzact same smart one!

I personally prefer Mid or even Low capacity magazines for Mil-Sims.
It's waaay more fun to realize all of a sudden that your gun's dry and have to reload instead of winding the dumb little wheel.
Plus, it feels far manlier to slam a new mag into your gun, whereas to me, winding the little wheel just seems gay.

to me, i prefer midcaps for re-inacting use, and especially if airsofters want some real feeling action.
high caps are for ones who want to reload less often and when they prefer to keep less mags.
to me, i prefer a midcap/low cap for shooting tests for videos.
just so you dont have to turn the gun upside down when making a firing test.
i use hicaps for real combat.
only having to reload once in a 3 hour game and glad the battery had a charge after 2 mags
