I know this is an old video but yea hitting the rev limit is a big no no, unless you got money for repairs down the line or getting a new bike lol. Other than that, clean bike, I have a K7 Gixxer 600 myself, really wanted that one but waited too long to get it lol. Ride safe bro and treat her well.

Yes , it will mess the engine up , any Bike dealer or Mechanic will tell you that. You know how to ride , im not trying to make fun of your skills but it will mess up your nice bike
All bikes will have problems if you are at rev limiter for too long. And yamaha makes great bike.That is why Rossi ( world super bike champion) is the best on a Yamaha - LOOk HIM UP IF YOU DO NOT NOW WHO HE IS. i dont see Suzuki winning always -- Ben Spies is good , but nothing to Rossi. Thats why Matt Maladin Switched to Yamaha too
you dont know anything...spies is with yamaha, mladin is with suzuki. give valentino a suzuki and i bet you will think the same way you do about yamaha as suzuki...
yes and no if u hold it for like a min yea its bad but thats why they put a rev limiter on the bike so u r wrong and right but u can rack it off the limiter for a while unless u have a yamaha then it will blow up cuz they SUCK!!!!!
not all years of the Yamaha have problems. rev limiters are not made to keep people from hitting it during a burnout , they are there to keep the engine from blowing up dude. and from getting to damn hot if at rev limiter for too long.
