To unlock ninja mode,watch Gray Fox on the title screen putting out his mask.As soon as he does that,press the START button quickly.It will unlock ninja mode.

i always loved being the grey fox guy cuz its the only place where i can actually jump in the whole game

This is an MGS1 engine, yet he can jump and do things that can't even be done in MGS4! Even Raiden can't move around like that in the MGS4 online. Then again.. maybe it'd be unfair to other players. Guess what I'm trying to say is I'm impressed with the controls of Gray Fox... he's really awesome! :D
