@LinkSOB To be more specific: Season one of Robotech was an almost true representation of Super Dimensional Fortress Macross. Harmony Gold wanted to bring such a great show to the USA, but at that time syndicated programs had a minimum number of episodes, and so they had to rewrite the script slightly and include two other shows. Super Dimensional Cavalry Southern Cross and Genesis Climber Mospeada, respectively.
