Wow, flashback! Here's a little tidbit: back in the day, when Trinere was still fresh, a bunch of us DJs put on a "Dance" that featured Trinere as the main act. All us DJs opened for her, playing 20 minute sets, then she went on for about half an hour, and we finished off the night ... it included DJs like, GQ Supreme Team, South Pacific Sound Crew and myself, Megawatt DJ. Admission was $10 in advance and we packed a banquet hall in Markham, ONT ... those were the days!
wow dj rude, thanks for the flashback. i remember getting my promo of trinere, the one with her on the cover with a vail wrapped around her head. i think i shelved it for like three months before i heard another dj playing it at a club.... then kicked myself for not even listening to it before i judged it unplayable. after that, i never slept on anything else on the jampacked label again!
