its a program you can buy called adobe after fx... you can do that and lightsabers and stuff im going to buy it once i save enough

But please remember that it's not just the program that make these brilliant effects, it's the person at the keyboard. You must invest a lot of time into learning the skills to composite such effects to make the software worth the price.

Go to Composition| Add to render queue, from there click on where it says 'lossless' in the queue, and you can choose the file format, pick one that's compatible with whatever you want to use it.
