I can hear it :) sometimes you have to pay attention to the little things. Some guitar players are just into make big nasty loud sounds!! always wanting a pedal to do something big/in your face! :)
i need help: i play guitar with my right hand very very soft.. i would like to know if a compressor, can raise this my sofr toch, if the note plaied very soft will play with more volume without to see too many difference between the notes plaied soft and the notes plaied more hard.
Im getting a terrible noise when i turn my boss cs3 compression sustainer pedal beyond the 12oclock range. Makes a horribe sound in my jtm 45 - reissue head - any ideas why?
Hence looking to buy a new compressor pedal and thinking of the love squeeze.
just a problem a lot of compressors that use anything less than exceptionally high quality components have. Its because its making natural hum and hiss much louder and bringing it to prominence in the signal. the only one's i can think of that don't really do that would be the keeley, a love squeeze, or a very well built dan armstrong orange squeezer (good luck finding an original)
Hey Andy, is this really true bypass? cause in the manufacturers website they fail to mention anything about that. wierd that they would leave that out!
Nowadays the circuit is SMD .. guess that impacts the "handmade" qualification. Obviously this means that the components are different from earlier versions. The effect of this? Have no idea, mine is SMD and works wonderfull.
In fact the Compressor is a very subtle effect, it adds a snap on single notes ,excellent for Country and Western, but also adds sustains ,cleaning up the sound,
I wonder if John Mayer watched these videos hes gonna order one of everything. This is a very smooth pedal I wonder since its so sweet how it would sound with an acoustic guitar.
That characteristic is desired in compressor designs. Most people don't want it to change their tone but at the same time equalize the volume of your strings and add sustain.
I think you shouldn't put compressor with modern distortions. Sound is already kinda compressed with those, and I think you don't want to loose all the dynamics. But this is just my opinion.

I have this pedal and I love it. It's more subtle than the Boss equivalent but in a very good way.

Dear PGS, with the volume high and compression low, does this pedal offer enough DB's to act as a clean boost as well??
