  • I can hear it :) sometimes you have to pay attention to the little things. Some guitar players are just into make big nasty loud sounds!! always wanting a pedal to do something big/in your face! :)

  • I have this pedal and I love it. It's more subtle than the Boss equivalent but in a very good way.

  • i need help: i play guitar with my right hand very very soft.. i would like to know if a compressor, can raise this my sofr toch, if the note plaied very soft will play with more volume without to see too many difference between the notes plaied soft and the notes plaied more hard.

  • Im getting a terrible noise when i turn my boss cs3 compression sustainer pedal beyond the 12oclock range. Makes a horribe sound in my jtm 45 - reissue head - any ideas why?

Hence looking to buy a new compressor pedal and thinking of the love squeeze.

  • @fIRsTRATmAN

just a problem a lot of compressors that use anything less than exceptionally high quality components have. Its because its making natural hum and hiss much louder and bringing it to prominence in the signal. the only one's i can think of that don't really do that would be the keeley, a love squeeze, or a very well built dan armstrong orange squeezer (good luck finding an original)

  • Wow, I was watching so many compressor reviews and this is the best I've heard so far.

  • thanks for playing GOOD music as demo's. claptons lay down sally is awesome

  • Hey Andy, is this really true bypass? cause in the manufacturers website they fail to mention anything about that. wierd that they would leave that out!

    cheers

  • I want to throw a bonfire and invite andy to it. We could have tacos and andy will play like a million songs on guitah

  • I like Andy's version of the billion dollar baby solo better than Glen Buxtons, lol

  • the secret weapon on my pedal board is the power strip

  • THE FAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAADEOUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUT

  • Dear PGS, with the volume high and compression low, does this pedal offer enough DB's to act as a clean boost as well??

  • BILLION Dollar BABYS :)

  • @Fender1976uk NO! IT"S "LOOK IN ANY WINDOW" by Quiet Riot!!!!!!!!! ... oh wait, Randy copied the entire intro to the song...

  • Nowadays the circuit is SMD .. guess that impacts the "handmade" qualification. Obviously this means that the components are different from earlier versions. The effect of this? Have no idea, mine is SMD and works wonderfull.

  • bro get your hearing checked

  • In fact the Compressor is a very subtle effect, it adds a snap on single notes ,excellent for Country and Western, but also adds sustains ,cleaning up the sound,

  • I wonder if John Mayer watched these videos hes gonna order one of everything. This is a very smooth pedal I wonder since its so sweet how it would sound with an acoustic guitar.

  • vs MXR Dyna Comp? how do they compare?

  • maybe its just me but i can't quite hear the difference between this and the dry signal...that goes for any compressor

  • That characteristic is desired in compressor designs. Most people don't want it to change their tone but at the same time equalize the volume of your strings and add sustain.

  • @ProGuitarShopDemos nice.. kind of like the emperors new clothes .. :)

  • FREE PEDAL FRIDAY!

  • is this suppose to be like the orange squeezer?

  • Alice Cooper! :-)

  • i like what i hear but is it worth the 200+ dollars, is the question.

  • You can't put a price on your ideal tone.

  • Andy is the guy you want to show up at every party with an acoustic. 5000 sing-alongs later...

  • deluxe reverb is already compressed enough and beautiful sound without compression. should do it on a crap amp lol

  • hey what song is he playing at 1:32 and at 1:56? please reply :)

  • "fadeout " radiohead .

  • I'm not far from that with my Visual Sound route 66.

  • main squeeze sounds like a better name IMO

  • Should you put the compressor in front of distortions//fuzzes or after?

  • Comment removed

  • I think you shouldn't put compressor with modern distortions. Sound is already kinda compressed with those, and I think you don't want to loose all the dynamics. But this is just my opinion.

  • Wow was that Street Spirit you played there Andy? Sweet cover.

  • Can somebody Please tell me what that riff is a the start!?

  • Sounds like Lay Down Sally by Clapton although not note for note.

  • ya it does, same vibe

  • at the start he played:

"eric clapton - lay down sally"

  • lol its funny cos i just bought this and i just relised all my pedal board is some shade of yellow hahah

  • What does a pedal bord do.

  • it's a board you put all your pedals on and it supplies power to them

  • Power suuplies them>

  • ITS A QUESTION NO NEED To mess with the guy

  • That's actually The Righteous and the Wicked

  • sorry your right haha

  • is there anything that doesn't sound awesome when andy plays it?

  • Clarinet???

  • @HKP1994 beside your mom?

  • there are so many stomp boxes coming out it's sickening

  • why is it sickening?

  • Comment removed

  • I'm not 100% sure but my money is on analog.

  • not bad

  • Andy is such a kickass guitarist

every review is great, even for a compression pedal.

  • gotta love anything called love squeeze

  • Pretty cool pedal.

  • all the demo songs are great, but you have a knack for chicken pickin', andy...great stuff!

  • Sounds nice.

  • The riff at the beginning made me dance.

  • Sweet, Andy kicks ass
