Nikon D5100 Fall TV Commercial: In-camera effects

I have this camera and at the 0:08 second mark there are orange pumpkins in the background that should be, at the 0:09 second mark, orange as well. Looks like art history brush was used to isolate the pumpkins in the foreground during post. Still it is a quality camera, but this particular result is not instantaneous.
