Her voice isn't angelical, it reminds us of the downfall of Sméagol. The music was never supposed to be "beautifull and infinite happiness". The point is, this music, in a right people's ear, is a BULLSEYE!

God I love this song and the way it plays into the final scene of The Two Towers. Seeing Mordor in all its dreadfulness for the first time and having the Nazgul fly by in the background did a tromendous job of getting across the great feeling of despair a hopelessness of the people of Middlearth who stand in the way of Sauron.Oh and it plays in lovely with the overall theme of Gollum's/Smeagol's character. Dammit now I need to watch the movies for the 95th time.

I Agree. They composed this track with Björk's voice in mind for sure. Emilíana has a wonderful voice, but there is a hollowness of tone to this song that I do not think was intentional. It's missing Björk's strong soprano.
