@MaliceDren :) well, youre welcome: first be more generous with the tags you specify in the description of the clip.. also the main text body of the description could use some relevant keywords inthere (like: "this is my latest instrumental experiment, a combination of djent and industrial elements" blah blah.. , or "the guitar i used was...", also details about the guitar "i used a 7 string from Ibanez", "a baritone from ESP" etc, anything that could relate to anything else on youtube)
@MaliceDren lately i see less youtubers enableing video responses.. but where you find them, especially on similar but more popular clips, try to post yours; if they dont have it enabled, maybe they just forgot to pay attention to that detalil and send them a private mesage to enable it (use diplomacy :) ), i think most of the people would be glad to have your stuff in their video replies; that way youtube will be more likely to promote your clips in the related section of more videos like these
@MaliceDren although you would expect the like/dislike ratio to have a direct influence.. its seems that the youtube doesnt care too much since i always walk into crappy videos (very much disliked) but which have instead even millions of views... .
@MaliceDren on the other side : a good title also seems to make a big difference, but this doesnt apply to your type of videos (too much), still, maybe you can do smth about that (think about some - few - covers you could make, that could become stiky in the related videos).
@MaliceDren and one last tip: believe it or not, the videos that are becoming related to yours and vice-versa seem to be dependent even on the friends you have, your subscriptions and your subscribers, and maybe also what they use to watch; i saw this behaviour when i was uploading my own clips.. which were getting some "random" related clips..
@MaliceDren ... but which made sense knowing my connections on youtube (it was a short time behaviour.. until youtube was making the statisticks of the viewers that were watching my stuff, in time) that's why some people keep asking for "like/friend/subscribe" seem to care so much about it;
So... :) thanks for asking my opinion. Good luck whith what you are doing here, it looks and sounds very nice!
you need a better strategy for your viewcount.. yes, i liked it.
