  • A BIG HELLO FROM LIVERPOOL! One of my fav songs looks like you are wishing you are with them singing along keep up the good work

  • @bigchip60 Hey it's always great to hear from Liverpool. The wife and I were there in July '09 and we loved it, want to go back and spend more time there. Yea, well you know some of us wanted to be The Beatles.

  • studio guy: you will have to redo it, there was a buzzing

    john: what?

studio guy: listen THE SONG PLAYS

    ringo falls through the floor

john: so it was you buzzing you naughty boy! hahaha lol

  • @rhythmantic

dude you didnt do it right first of all you werent smoking before the drums start secondly you didnt fall through the floor at the end of the song

  • VERYY NICE! i haave a question ,,,... when do u hit the bass drum? i mean on 1 nd 3?

  • @ledzeppelin4304 Thanks. Bass drum on: 1 and "and 3"

  • @rhythmantic all thru the song?

  • @ledzeppelin4304 mostly, sometimes playing other patterns, which ever way the melody is moving. My bass foot follows the rhythm of the melody mostly.

  • @rhythmantic THANK U

  • Love your videos!

  • @ziehensack1 Cool, thanks, I appreciate you watching my videos.

  • you sould do a cover to penny lane or across the unvirse, and i like the beat to all the beatles songs that you make i learned alot of the beatles song because of you drumming skills.

  • @hillcrestcougar Thanks for sharing your comment, I'm glad to know it that my videos serve other drummers. I covered Penny Lane, check it out, let me know what you think, I like the kit sound on that one. Across The Universe I'd rather cover on guitar and vocals (thanks for the idea) since there aren't any drums on it except maybe a bass drum.

  • No bongos? :-)

  • @jprg1966 If I had 2 more hands, or if I wanted to overdub, but I left the bongos to Ringo. No bongos in my cover of a Hard Days Night either.

  • love the shirt bro, awesome cover.

  • first of all i love your videos !!!!! I am a drummer to but i dont sound good as you. I am learning to play the gutiar and i might put some videos of me drumming. Also how do you get good sound on your videos to?

  • @hillcrestcougar Thanks a lot for your comment and watching. For info on my sound and all please refer to my channel page, it's all there under the "About Me:" section. Thanks.

  • sal you've done it again. You have gained all of my respect as a drummer. Im a drummer too and I can only dream of being as good as you! Bravo, Bravo.

  • @gabegify Well thanks, I've been drumming for 48 years now, it's a calling.

  • do you have plan to play "Something"? :)

  • @iamakkara Yes! Look for another cover soon today of The End featuring Ringo's drum solo.

  • how much is your kit?

  • @JrMina25 about $4k

  • Is Ringo one of your influences?

  • @blutocampbell He sure is! He is the very reason I picked up the drums. I recently uploaded a video cover of All My Loving of The Beatles first ever American appearance and the first time I saw Ringo play.

  • I was going to ask about the bass pattern, too. I knew it was on 1 and 3 like most rock songs, but had a hard counting the " ands ", because of the fast pace of so many of their songs. Thanks !!!

  • Really excellent cover ! Ringo would be proud ! what is the bass drum pattern to this song ?

  • @Acustom997 Well let me take a listen to it as it plays.....ah, a typical Ringo & pop bass pattern: 1, and 3. So the snare covers 2 and 4. Occasionally I play: 1 and & and 3. Hope that helps, it's much easier to explain by writing it out in drum set notation.

  • @rhythmantic thanks now I know how to play it correctly !

  • @rhythmantic ..you look like you're having sooo much fun...

  • @babyalicia45 Well it is fun playing to Beatles songs. Thanks for watching.

  • are you related to ringo or something because you play just like him

    (amazing)

  • @FLEXskateboards I started to play drums because of Ringo, I play drums because of him and right after I saw him & The Beatles on the Ed Sullivan Show on that Sunday night on Feb 9, 1964, right after I started to play. I learned drums by playing along to The Beatles records and all the other groups that followed from the British Invasion. Thanks for watching.

  • Great cover. You should have used a video editiing system to make it look like you and your set fell through the floor, like in the movie!!!! Lolz!

  • @ZBraun95 yea, and be smoking a cigarette too....: D

  • Very nice! A real Beatles' Gem.

  • @TopTenCrew Thanks.
