In N.Y.C. alone, the public access community is mostly made up of poor folks with no internet services or digital editing tools to draw on and produce their own VHS formatted access shows. By offering public access TV facilities to create one's own show is mainly a service provided to you and sometimes exculsive to society's disenfranchised population. Youtube is too advanced for the general population to comprehend.
Saw Harry Lime. Harry spoke the truth. Miss his show.

YouTube should NEVER have the power to make Access Channels obsolete. YouTube deletes accounts left and right, for whatever reason.
If you want to see REAL freedom of speech in use, watch your access channel. And if you don't have one where you live, you are getting screwed.

The "Abductions with the Alter Boy" started on access TV and this documentary interviews the Alter Boy.

Not right now because convergence has not taken place. Television is still very viable.
