@TheMrSkaterboy14 , that would be cool, if I had the resources to do so. My ability to make videos has been greatly cut back due to life.....but isn't that always the reason.
I need to know how to tie them off properly, everything I try either messes with the aesthetic or making it slide. Guess I will check out some bondage videos.
One way to do it if you have about 6inches left is to take a coat hanger (metal) slide it through and pull the extra rope through the inside. Stuffing them through can cause it to slip some. Let me know if you find any other fixes for this. Thanks for watching.
@jrichtman I actually found a way to do it with some natural fiber that didn't look terrible, Im pretty sure I didn't change anything but the rope but the nylon slides and natural fibers, especially something softer seemed to do the trick. However the softer stuff is not likely to offer real protection, if you are looking for that.
It was a while ago that I made this video, but I think I actually got the idea from an online book about ship knot tying, then found some other information on these gauntlets. Now if I could just figure out how to do a proper monkey fist I'd be happy.

Do this with Kevlar rope, weave the strands and you have armor. Celts used woven armor made of wicker.

It was a while ago that I made this video, but I think I actually got the idea from an online book about ship knot tying, then found some other information on these gauntlets. Now if I could just figure out how to do a proper monkey fist I'd be happy.
