I have  malware bytes, mc afee and AVG, my McAfee and AVG virus protection is saying that I have viruses but I did a 100% full scan with my malware bytes and it says it has no viruses (the 100% full scan toke 49 minutes), and yesterday I removed 2 viruses using malware bytes and a couple of minutes ago my computer was being really odd. So is malware bytes correct or is AVG And McAfee correct?

IDK if it's only my laptop PC but after I got this freak'n rogue malware program in my system, I can't find the Add/Remove program icon, and also when I tried to format the drive, during the beginning of the formatting, it doesn't even detect any drives available for me to format. I too want to literally beat the crap out of the mofo that creates these freak'n malicious programs. But obvioulsy, there is money to be made, otherwise, there wouldn't be any of these programs...

@YoWhatUpMike is it ms removal tool? if soo i know what your goin through,you'll have to reinstall the os and than run malware bytes,if it's not detecting the drive than thats quite a noodle try restoring from safe mode,but if it is ms removal,it won't let u do that either.i hope u solve it,good luck...

@rockyeuenguino No need man, I did however installed malware bytes and after running it, a few minutes later, it tells me there is something wrong with the root file so I looked further into it and found that there is a program that rooted itself on the PC boot sector area. Did some research on what and how to get ride of problem and found: TDSSKiller, this is freeware and it really helped. This program kills the rooted malicious program that even malware bytes can not get rid of.

McAfee and Norton only seem to prevent virus/malware infection. However, after your machine has been infected...they're almost useless. This is why programs like Malwarebytes and others like it are really essential especially for back doors and root kits.

I had the Google redirect virus for about a month, McAfee completely useless, installed and ran Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware and fixed the issue instantly after a scan.

Avast was annoying because I had a virus in my explorer.exe file so it blocked it and loads of shit disappeared

and before that AVG randomly stopped working and wouldnt let me uninstall it

Malwarebytes is very good software, I run a scan once a week with it, I also have Avast, MSE, Threatfire, Spybot S & D and CCleaner, I find that none of them conflict with each other, I think slow running computers are caused mainly by unecessary programs running at start up, not defraggmenting hard drives etc, I would manually scan once a week with all of the above, CCleaner (CrapCleaner) will clean out temp files, cookies, web history etc, and for the brave it will clean your registry

@LACK78 Yes you have to understand that antivirus like avast, bitdefender, and so on.... also works on bakcdoors......Especially Avast when boot up it slows you're computer booting....... But Antivirus is a complete Security software it removes all virus that can harm you're computer system...... Not like Malwarebytes it only removes malwares not viruses maybe some viruses but not 100%.....

malwarebytes is the shizz,i hav been using it for three years now,and it solves problems that even reformatting the os cant fix.i recently cought ms removal tool/rouge trojan,and it about kicked my ass.it wouldnt lemme run nothin,or even attempt to boot into safe,soo i reinstalled the os,and even after it was still kickin around my drive..soo i dl'd malwarebytes and ran it,it found seven infections even after rebooting the entire filesystem.ran it 1nce more n found 2 more.in th end prob solved.
