If your asking why he doesn't talk about it as often as other things, it's as you said, would you risk your job to continually talk about something that's not really going to do much? GE is one of the most powerful companies in the world.

@RaabBlog yeah there, but there is a way. I am going out of the box, the matrix if you will. It's funny how traditions blind people from what is actually going on. I am still trying to find a way to get one without the spying eye of working under the name by being the company name. take food lion for example. you won't be yourself working there. So in order for me to hear myself I have to apply myself to what I know no matter what another will do or not. do you hear yourself at times?

We need a progressive counter to the Tea Party. They are onto something. They are making their party clean up its act and conform to what they want. We should do the same on the progressive side. That means, by the way, a primary challenge. If Obama doesn't quit giving everything away, cutting jobs & education in response to Republican demands instead of defense/pork, maybe he needs a primary challenge, too.

Obama's economic policy here is a disaster. Investment creates jobs. If tax cuts fail to stimulate investment (they have) SOMEONE has to do it, thus govt stimulus. We could cut defense enough to dent the deficit & fund a stimulus without hurting our military efforts one bit. Cutting things like medicare and aid hurt the economy because the poor actually SPEND the money Tax cuts to corporations won't result in them investing at all. Doesn't make business sense for them right now, really.

If your asking why he doesn't talk about it as often as other things, it's as you said, would you risk your job to continually talk about something that's not really going to do much? He has pointed it out, I don't think it's necessary for him to take on his boss repeatedly in vain just to lose a platform where he can talk about many other important issues. GE is one of the most powerful companies in the world.

As of now he would just be risking his platform on MSNBC (even more than he already has by talking about it at all). I totally see your point but I think it's good for someone like Cenk to be on a mainstream media (that the president actually might watch)

He's talked about it before, the information is out there other people are talking about it regularly. We know GE didn't pay taxes, it's horrible (I'm actually going to send you a petition) but I don't see why Cenk should sacrifice his job just to spearhead this one issue when there are so many others.

Cenk is a good person to have on that kind of a platform but compromises have to be made to be able to have that spot.
