hey i was wondering for the droning part whats the right hand fingering? is it middle finger for the g and d strings then second for the a? or midle finger for just the g string and second for both d and a?

i found this chic's way of playing the droning part inefficient and doesn't sound right.

It's a middle eastern thing flea does which flows continuously, i found the clearest and fastest way of doing it is by using my thumb on the A and index finger for G and D.

They didn't really steal it, in the music business you can acquire whats called a mechanical license to a song which allows to cover it, or just use parts from it as long as it is a new recording of the original version, so really Crazy town bought the song and made a huge hit out of it, the chili peppers also made money off it tho. As much as i hate the song Butterfly it is still unfair to say they stole it.
