  • Dog in a rabbit hutch springs to mind

  • sooo, I could use some help in starting up a saltwater tank.:) I dont want to kill my investments

  • @laurenliann get an AQUA C REMORA protein filter and your on your way to clean water! add one to a 12-40 gallon tank and your set! get some live rock and live sand, replace 5% of the water with new water 1 time a week and your done. you can have clean water with coral if you have good lighting.

  • maybe ur tank is going to win 'tank of the year'

    not even close :P

but at least ur shit is alive

  • I didn't say his clowns were dying you prick! I said his tank is too small for clowns as it doesn't have enough swimming space for them!

1000's of reefers can't be wrong! Do some fucking research!!!!!

  • Dont know if this has already been bought up but that tank is way too small for a pair of clowns.

    20G minimum!

    Nice looking tank tho regardless!

  • @mgkdcx do his clowns look like they are dying? no? Then that means the clowns are suited perfectly

  • @nhamms I never said his clowns were dying did I!. I just said that the tank is too SMALL for clownfish as it doesnt have enough swimming space for them. How can you tell they're happy! Are you some kind of fish whisperer!

Minimum recommended tank size for clowns is 20G long. Thousands of experienced reefers can't be wrong.

If you think the clowns are 'perfectly suited' to this tank then you obviously have no experience in marines and need to do some research before you run your mouth off!

  • @mgkdcx lol. you take a comment way to seriously. And actually, i am actually a clownfish whisperer. not a fish whisperer, way to general. So i see that these clowns are good. and you don't need to be text yelling, it is quite humorous. I am sorry if I offended you. But before you try to be all mr. badass and yell text over the internet, take a minute to breathe or chill your balls or something along those lines. Thank you -hamms ;)

  • Loox too set up

  • how is your filtration in the back set up ?

  • I'd also like to add that it seems you shoot down every educated comment made on all your videos. But i forgive you some people just need to be praised no matter what they do. I also noticed all the comments that say "nice tank" and such, later go on to explain that they have a 10 gal goldfish tank and are thinking of getting into saltwater. Lol

  • @cmanclan101 umm name one... have you seen my 90? goldfish tank? wher's your tank? this si my business. i own an aquarium installation and maintenance company and have 30+ jobs a month... i highly doubt that you know more, and if you do i would LOVE to hear your advice but so far, you have not said anything remotely educating my friend...

  • @fishtanksandkoiponds and, where are you're tanks? i see no videos... what are you're stock lists? WHERE IS YOUR ANYTHING?

  • @fishtanksandkoiponds also, how old are you? 10? you're only video is of a damn video game!

  • @fishtanksandkoiponds shut the fuck up

  • @superbillybob8 hey "billy bob" tough over youtube? ohh shit your hard. why dont you say that to my face pussy. (all normal people reading this sorry for my language, it had to be done)

  • @fishtanksandkoiponds Damn whats up with all of these assholes hating on your video? It is a great looking tank and everything looks 100% healthy! I have a 3 month old 29 gallon biocube (my first fishtank) and love it! the cubes are so compact and easy to work with that thing is a challenge worthy of respect to keep the water levels in check good job! I am turning my tank from a murky snowflake eel tank to a reef tank like this practically overstocked with reefs and 2 ocellaris subbed checkmyvid

  • @fishtanksandkoiponds that my friend is by far the most intresting and amazing fish tank i have EVARRRR seen good job :D

  • There is about double the rock you should have in there. Your clowns also require a minimum of 40 gallons for a pair. Sad that people put this kind of stress on living things just for thir own enjoyment.

  • @cmanclan101 If you do not know what you're talking about PLEASE DO NOT comment my videos...

1- the more live rock the better. 1 lb per gallon IS THE MINIMUM. 2 lb per gallon is great.

2- they are now in a 90 gallon thriving reef tank... ever heard of raising fish then upgrading? well no, you probably never kept saltwater fish...

where are your videos? please do not lash out at people because you can't pull of what they can...

    thanks

  • @fishtanksandkoiponds actually i've been keeping marine tanks for something like 15 years now.

1-2lbs of live rock per gallon would be fine for a normal tank... But when youre talking about a tank thats at the most, 1foot cubed and 12 gal. You dont have the flexibility to do rockwork or otherwize maximise the living area for your fish. Especially for something like your clowns, who when over 2 inches should have a space of at least 40 gal if fish only. And minimum 75 if you have inverts.

  • awesome i have a fresh water 8 gallon nano cube and i want to convert it to salt water what do you recommend i do

p.s what filtration do you use/ recommend

  • Without all the corals, how much did it cost? because i want ot do a salt tank, 10 gallons roughly, but no corals, at least not right away, until i get more experienced

  • you should be sorry about the stupid music

  • @tr763 you should be sorry about commenting on my video... where are yours?

  • such a hardcore song for something so not hardcore haha

  • no matter what you do, people will always say the tank is too small, as long as you don't keep a shark in a 30 gallon tank you're okay, fishkeepers on youtube over-react...

  • @igobyjoey They are now in a 90... haha

  • Nice aquarium, just feel sorry for the clownfish, bit small for them I think

  • to small :(

  • How much was this all together

  • @Ovechkin242 i would say about $600

  • Too small for clown fishes!!! You need a much bigger tank!!

  • Too small for clown fishes!!!! You need a much bigger tank!

  • does the aquarium have on plug or multiple plugs for each piece f equipment?

  • pretty nice dudeeeeeee. check mine out on my page

  • How do you keep your tank at the right temperature with the powerhead because i also have a 12 gallon nano but the temperature raises when i have the powerhead running..

  • @danieldcd94 what kind of powerhead do you have? they should not be producing that much heat.,..

  • @fishtanksandkoiponds mine niether idk what up with yours make sure it dosent have anything caught causing resistance

  • Hey Guys! Check Out The update To This Tank! Im uploading It Now...

  • beautiful little tank!

  • Great tank!! How do you have the back of the tank (sump) set up? Is that a protien skimmer on the left? Whats in the middle? etc... Please, I just started mine 2 months ago, struggling a bit :-)

  • its (from left to right) protein skimmer and 1 pad, 2 pads and chemi pure, 3- heater, ceramic bio rings, pump, and carbon... anything else you need? im glad to help

  • the clownfish are cute anyways:)

  • thanks. but what do you mean anyways? haha :)

  • hmm..I don't know lol:) the clownfish are cute. I am unable to see the video now, so maybe when I see the video again i'll be able to telll you.

  • oh I said "anyways" b/c you said the camera was twitchy. so besides from the video quality the clowns are still cute:)

  • ohhh haha

  • Will what song/band is that?

  • cast me aside by drowning pool.

  • beautiful!

  • Nice looking tank. Video looks fine to me but next time instead of having music for the audio why not explain or give info about the tank yourself.

  • Or write some subtitles, that helps.

  • i was going to do that but my camera sounded odd and i don't have a mic on my computer. but coming from somebody like you, i will definitely do that next time and buy i mic! Thanks so much!

  • Hey guys! i am sorry about the video being a little "twitchy" almost like it is sped up. I have no idea why its like that but it only happened after i uploaded it to youtube so in just hoping it isn't to much of a bother to the viewers!

    thanks!

  • The video looks fine, I have a sapphire aquatics protein skimmer on my nano cube ^_^. but my clowns are 1 inch. BTW how much flow do u have in your tank?

  • nice. and i have about 300 gph all together but i have most of it going straight up for surface disruption instead of down because my current corals don't like a lot of flow but there are some spots in the tank that i can even feel the strong flow if i put my hand in! my clowns go from spot to spot depending on their mood. most of the time (when im not in the room because if i am they are begging for food :) they are in the high flow areas, but they love to go back to the low flow and chill.

  • WOW, your clown is huge! it's almost the size of the NanoCube Label. How is the Biocube Proteinskimmer working for you? any microbubbles?. your NC is not the delux edition?

  • yup! the female is 3.5" and is actually a little bigger than the label! and the protein skimmer is working great! it took HOURS of tweaking with the air flow but after i got it, its been amazing. and no microbubbles. and yes, the nano cube is the regular version and that is why i only have low light corals! also can you do me a favor and tell me if the video is very twitchy on your computer to? i have no idea why but on mine it is jumpy and twitchy! maybe it is still processing... thanks a lot

  • Nice tank and Clownfish!

  • thanks! although the video still hasn't stopped uploading! HAHA i hope thats why it is so twitchy!
