@Sandman6616 Sandman..whats up. I didn't stretch them in maschine (which at the time is not possible) I took the acapella and stretched it in Cubase. I like cubase because i can just type in the original BPM and type in the desired BPM and it stretches to that.

@sqwalkie that`s a very good question. MAschine has no timestretch..I think, he has uses a Vst-Plugin. Maschine 1.6 ist compatible for that

I got one of these just before christmas and I have to say if you looked up "Awesome" in the dictionary there would be a picture of the Maschine next to it! I bought an AkaiPro APC20 a few months before and this is so much easier and better to use for groove production! Workflow is so easy and fast! The APC20 is good for playing live sets like DJing but the Maschine eats everything for breakfast. Infact I sold my MPD26 to get the Maschine!

Maschine will do whatever you want, it's creative possibilities are limitless. if you want to see maschine in action being made to create techno check out some of suicide servers videos. Knocksquared is the king with maschine when it comes to Hip hop and Rnb. Suicide server is the guy who seems to be making the best electronic music with maschine on youtube. Oh yeah, I have maschine and am not as good as these guys, but I love it. It's soooo much fun.

Hey Bruh, I just copped my Maschine on Friday!! One Word - Ridiculous!!! This thing is the Best Thing I've bought this year for the studio!! But I got a question for you - I have an apogee one audio interface and I want to sample from my turntable! How do I hook that up to maschine since it only has midi in and out?! I've been through the manual about three times and couldnt't find it!! Thanks Man!

@prettdboy yo..it has audio inputs right. I think you got the one with the 1/8 jack input (headphone jack size) What you need to do is buy a cable (couple of dollars) that goes from your turntable or mixer (rca jacks right) down to a 1/8 inch stereo jack. (one end has rca the other the 1/8 jack. THEN when you have that load maschine and go to audio settings and look for "input" . There you should see your apogee. assign that as the input. let me know if this helps

Let me tell you....I thought Ableton Live had the fastest workflow as far as getting your ideas recorded quickly, but my god!!! - Maschine is Ableton on steroids! It took me the longest time yesterday getting my drum library imported into Maschine with the appropriate attributes but it was well worth it b/c my workflow is straight stupid!! Anyways, good looks on the response and I'll let you know how it goes!

@prettdboy yeah the maschine is pretty awesome at getting your thoughts down quick and in some sort of order, but the best is when you get adept enough with the maschine and then use it as a plugin for ableton. this baby is an amazing piece of engineering.
