  • Hey could you help me? I have a LG900G and I have a micro usb cable, and I'd like to transfer some music from my XP laptop but the problem is when I connect my phone to my xp laptop the computer trys to add all music files instead of just one, I only want a couple songs not every file can you help me figure out how to get music to my phone without transferring all files?

  • Do you need a microSD? At my RadioShack they are Very Expensive. I tried transferring my jar and jad files without a card and it didn't work. But I did get a Third Eye Blind song to show up in the voice recordings lol

  • does it only use sd or does sdhc cards work in this phone?

  • @blueshiftchess Have not tried a high capacity card though I would be inclined to say no. Most of these phones will not take more than 8gb.

  • @saveonprepaidphones Yes,the 4gb sdhc works perfectly.

  • @saveonprepaidphones well you kinda answered that high capacity is a form of card that refers to the density of the logical memory sectors. Anything over 4gb is a sdhc in its respectable form factor.

  • can you make one for the LG800g, i could use a little help. if you could id appreciate it. thnxxx

  • @Setherson93

Hi there..The LG 800 works pretty much the same way. Connect the data cable (must have sd card or won't work), the phone will show as another drive on your pc (just like connecting a thumb drive). From there, just a matter of dragging files from pc to phone...Hope that helps..I will work on doing a new video though.

  • thanks this was extremely helpful

  • I am with NET10 and am considering buying either the LG800 or 900, has anyone had the 800? Which is the better of the two and what are the major differences other than one being a touch screen???

  • @LoveBug464 i have the 800, and personally i think it is better than the 900. the 800 has a touchscreen, 900 just the keyboard. the 800 functions better than the 900, from experience w/ a friend who has the 900. internet is better, more service coverage, better value. i would say get 800.

  • Felicidades excelente video me ayudo a pasar musica ami cel thanks you,God Bless You!!!!

  • How exactly do i get this phone to recognize my sd card. Its an 8gb and I just put it in but I cant get the phone to recognize it. :( please help

  • @RustyShackelford777 it will not recognize anything bigger than a 4gb so u have to use 4 gb

  • hey did your phone come with a data cable or did you had to buy it? because i really need one since i cant do nothing without it

  • how do you tranfer the contacts to a lg900g?

  • @dmoses12

That really depends on your old phone. If your old phone is also gsm and supports sim card copy just put lg900 sim into old phone and copy. Another way is if your old phone supports export to vcard. You can transfer from old phone to lg900 by connecting directly via bluetooth and transferring the vcards. Check out our other videos, we have an example of the bluetooth vcard transfer, the old phone in the video is a cdma samsung.

  • Thanks for this video. It's a very detailed walk-through, which is so helpful for someone like me, who's not especially techno-savvy. And I love the background music! I have a question for you--does the $30 plan give you enough mobile web access for this phone when you're doing file transfers, or is it better to get the $45 unlimited plan?

  • @rachmcc3

The file transfers to and from your pc are free so no need to worry about using your web time. You just need to get a $5 data cable. You can find the cable through the link in the original video description. As far as the $30, its great for the casual browser, update facebook from time to time, etc. Try the $30 first, if that's not enough upgrade to the $45, changing plans is free and simple with these plans.

  • @saveonprepaidphones Thank you--I will give the $30 plan a go. Like you said, I can always upgrade later! :)

  • Hi, I'm a straight talk customer and I want to upgrade my phone, would you recommend that I get this phone over the Nokia E71? Or do you know anything about the Nokia E71?

  • @SpaceBat119

The e71 is definitely a better phone and can do much more than the lg900. You really can't compare the two. That being said, the e71 is over 4 times more expensive. If you don't mind spending the money, go for the e71.

  • omg i want one!
