People can say what they want Ivanovic. Her Roland Garros title may have been a fluke (although I do not beleive it was), but she had the guts to come back from a pretty awful patch of her career. PLUS, when she is playing well she can give anyone a good game.

@welcome1598 Agreed. They keep talking about Henin's absence, but Ana became the favourite for this title when Henin retired. And how can a victory be called a fluke if the favourite wins? It's like calling Serena's wimbledon 2010 title a fluke because she didn't face Clijsters or Henin. They really need to look up the meaning of the word again. I'm confident someday she'll find her game back, and we can all gaze upon that pretty smile again :P

zvonereva's tennis is annoying...she will be just like demented dementieva...win smaller tourneys here and there but never a Grand slam.

Zvonareva is still and always is better. The only problem is that Zvonareva can not finish off matches.

@gdlybbert18 True and not true. I agree that in this match Zvonareva was better, more consistent. But the always part is wrong, this match is peak Zvonareva against a resurging Ivanovic, in 2008, when Ana too was at her peak, she could often beat Zvonareva in straights, sometimes three sets. Her peak is a lot higher, but so are her lows, Zvonareva is a really good consistent player, but lacks the firepower which is required to win a slam. Yesterdays match showed the difference in power too

Ana's forehand was no match for Vera's backhand. Not as powerful but solid and smooth.

ana played good here, but unfortunately she wasnt lucky. But, this is the sign of Ana's comeback, Go Ana!!!

@JosephineApril25 Absolutely. She's not getting amazing results, but she's becoming more consistent and is doing better against the top players. I expect 2012 to be a very good season for her.
