  • Oh, sorry, for my english - I'm polish xD

  • Hi. Great job. I want to learn FFVII on piano, but i have horrible bad sheet music. And your version is the best version of Sepiroth theme. Look at kylelandry's cover of it. The same version... maybe little quickly. xD But can you give me site with this sheet? PLEASE!!!

  • In the phrase at 1:38 his right hand turns into Sephiroth's, and he gives us all the finger, repeatedly.

  • @RichardJohnNguyen

LOL, I never noticed that before. Sorry, no offence. ;D

  • @Atin1337 Haha, don't worry, playing piano automatically gives us pianists the right to display obscene hand gestures!

  • Question, can you make a midi?

  • I will love you forever for sharing the sheet music with us <3 plus exceptional play XD

  • 1:38 yeah f you too

  • Freaking amazing!!!!!! Keep up the great work!

  • I listen lots of videos of this song (played on piano)and this is the best I listen.....the others were played too faster.....they don't know how to do....thanks a lot.....

  • beautiful

  • My favorite piece is 1:15

  • That was cool! :D

  • i agree with the fact that you need to get the technique level in this song up but it is a definet well done =) however sometimes its not the technique that plays, but the heart. It may sound strange but have you tried playing it with your eyes closed and actully seing the one winged angel?

  • hey atin :)

Is this piece harder to play than those who fight?

  • some weird tempos that are not up to speed but very nicely done :D this song is like teh death of me at the moment lOL

  • I have the awesomest boner right now :D

  • Mi fili veni, veni veni mi fili

  • I wonder what Mozart would say... "Pfft, EASY. That song is WAY too slow..."

  • awesome!

  • Great playing !!

  • if only i could play this well like you... T.T

  • very nice really :D

  • i love it!!!!!

  • this looks extremely difficult, is it the hardest song you have up on youtube? or do you have one that was harder to learn?

  • @81jmmitchell

Fantasie Impromptu is way harder. It's my second newest video.

  • @Atin1337 and is there something even harder of is that like your nemesisXD

  • @81jmmitchell Extremely difficult ? You kidding right ?

  • :D Sephiroth!!!!!!! yay! I love that kid. too bad I can't play piano that well yet. I guess I will keep having to practice. :)

  • I was very pleased with your performance! I tip my hat to you for dedicating such a considerable amount of time to such a complex song [that also just so happens to be my favorite song of all time ;) ]

  • So awesome, watching it for maybe the 15th time now :)

Now i started to learn this too but its like ... Really hard ^^

  • dear goodness. incredibly impressed.

  • nie im leben könnte ich es schaffen wie du

never in my life i can learn it like you

  • You have nice hands

  • Very nice, work out the tempo and you'll have it sounding a lot better.

  • Could i play this if i've been playing the piano for only two years??

  • @MioAkiyama08

Of course you can, it'll just be very frustrating and take very long, depending on your skill level.

  • Man! I noticed that this song is wrong! 0:12 a part is missing

  • 3:01 all of a sudden.... HEAD

  • Comment removed

  • That was FREAKIN. AMAZING!!

  • i have the weirdest boner right now.

  • @waluigi5 from this piece?

  • Comment removed

  • Do you think this one's harder than tatakau monotachi?

  • Ugh this piece is kinda hardd!! ive been practicing it last 2days and i was soo frusturrated in Some parts i cried! lol but there are really easy parts in some places. Anyways when i see this video it inspires me in some way (:

  • @DickKnowsBest how long have u been playing??

  • @beRehOlli 5 1/2 yrs

  • @DickKnowsBest Holy Sh!t OWA was your second song?! How long did that take?

  • @DickKnowsBest OWA a good song for beginners? Wouldn't it take forever to learn if you're a beginner?

  • how long did it take you to learn this song?

  • Also, exhibit control. Just because there are parts that are more demanding technically doesn't mean you should speed up.

  • You really need to slow it down and get the technique down before playing it up to tempo. Many of the runs are muddy and I can tell that you haven't yet developed the manual dexterity to make this piece as clear as it needs to be.

  • @incognito217

Finally someone who actually knows piano well enough to judge me. ;D

I'm fully aware of the things that you mentioned and since the 2,5 years of this recording I have learned a lot. That's why there will be a remake of this piece soon.

  • @Atin1337 Great. Keep working at it. Piano practice often just requires perseverance.

  • @Atin1337 good to hear that

  • @Atin1337 howlong had you been playing the piano before you played this song.

  • @Atin1337 wow this looks really hard to play but you did an alright job. keep practicing!

  • @incognito217 He still did a good job.

  • Holy Shit :D

  • @DickKnowsBest How the hell do you play piano by ear? I mean I can play simple melodies by ear sometimes but not a whole freakin song! Let alone the more sophisticated piano collection version.

  • Furthermore I have all but mastered the first sheet of To zanarkand, and am reluctantly moving on to the first stanza of the second sheet. The first sheet took me about a week just to note. This considered, will mastering TZ Piano Collection be much harder? Also to note I started piano about a year ago and only started getting serious with it recently. I can barely read sheet music and have to right all the letters out in pen next to each note.

  • @111BLACKLIGHTNING111

You'll find the sheet music link in the description box. But from what you've written, I'd say you should stick with easy to medium pieces until you feel comfortable with reading sheet music. One-Winged Angel will drive you insane.

I don't know what kind of Zanarkand sheets you've got, but I only know of the Piano Collections and Michael Gluck's version. Either way, it's a good song to get started. And nobody has to give up videogames because of piano playing. ;)

  • @Atin1337 Thanks, and one of the reasons I am having to write down letters is because some go above or below the lines. Had they all been within the lines I might have made an attempt to simply read it. I got the sheet music online and its basically simpler than the piano collection version. Also watching you play this song, its hard to imagine that this song is easy compared to others (comment below you said) I would be interested in a link to another song harder than this.

  • Could you give me a link for sheet music? I have the sheet music for To Zanarkand but not piano collection. Also I would like this to be one of the songs on my to do list. Man Im gonna have to give up videogames to do it but what the hell.

  • One word:

    DAYUMMM!

  • hm... must be asian

  • @Punishmintor

    is not

  • @Atin1337 if you're not asian... THEN WHO MADE THAT AMAZING CARPET THAT PIANO IS SITTING ON?

    lol just kidding.

  • NICE DUDE, NICEEE.

  • 2:20 his right hand is flipping you off lol

  • Just a suggestion: at 4:18 try doubling the speed of the left hand, so you go through the cycle twice as fast. (Look for kyleandry or kyle666 performance). Sounds a bit better if you can do it ;P

  • T^T this is brilliant, I've been practicing this song for at least a month and a half and can't get it T^T please gives me advise on how you did it T^T I beg of you and your awesomeness!!!

  • @Inuyashasama10

I can't explain the whole piece to you, you have to give a specific passage you want to have explained. I already gave some advice on how to practice the runs a little further down in the comments.

  • You are not good, you are AWESOME that was a really great interpretation of One Winged Angel on the piano, congratulations :D

  • It may not be entirely perfect but the fact that you practiced really hard for this beautiful intense piece makes you amazing. I'm in awe and I hope you will continue to play beautiful music! Also it makes me wanna play the piano :)

  • I agree with the user below me. You are God. This was the most amazing thing I have ever seen... my ears just jizzed. Blimey, you're amazing! This-... just, dear God. There are no words for how flipping fantastic this is! :D

  • @ElvenArcher7

You clearly haven't listened to professional performances. xD

    But thanks a lot. :)

  • @Atin1337

I haven't seen all that many... XD But, I have seen the sheet music to this--and I've watched many pianists on YouTube... and you Own.

    You're more than welcome. :D

  • I'd disagree with a good few of your tempo changes. The piece fairly clips along with very few Ritardando but otherwise that's decent. A few technical problems (bumpy runs being the main one) but it's forgiveable 'cos it's a tough piece.

  • @petebrickette

There will be a remake soon, that'll address all of these issues. ;)

  • dude... you are god.

  • I just had an eargasm... @0@

  • Unglaublich gut!!! du bist sehr talentiert!! in meinen augen perfekt gespielt!!!! wirklich sehr gute arbeit!! 5000*

  • this is like wow :D may I know how many hours you devote to practice this piece daily? I also wonder if you can suggest some finger flexibility exercises, my fingers can't shift to different keys fast enough, especially if there are black keys involved >.<

  • @idzny

Back then it used to be like 20 to 30 min daily.

To improve your finger's flexibility you can do some up and down runs everyday. It'll show effect after 1-2 weeks. Plus be sure to always use the same fingering for each part.

To practice the runs at the beginning of the piece, it makes sense to split them into short and fast parts. That means, that you always play one bar in the normal speed, the next one in half speed, the following one in normal speed etc. without pauses in between.

  • by the end it just sounds like DADDY WOULD YOU LIKE SOME SAUSAGES.. DADDY WOULD YOU LIKE SOME SAUSAGES

  • Nice playing I know that the piece is hard as hell and is fucking ridiculous but it doesn't matter for you.

  • Your hands look a lot like mine!

Only my hands can't do that.. xD

  • i got a lot from this video! thank you^^

  • That was pretty good, just a little slow IMO.

  • you are super good but at the DA DA DAAA part. you know the awsome bit :P you got the timing a little wrong. still awsomly played =D

  • o man your fingers are so red after you finished!

  • awesome man!!!

  • U did a good job playin this song and I was wondering if you could put this in a mp3 link on mediafire because I really want this song? plz and thank you. :) Rapidshare is giving me a hard time downloading this song.

  • @nessey5555

Done. All my mp3s are now also on mediafire. Sheet music will follow soon.

  • @Atin1337 THANK YOU SO MUCH!!! :D

  • well done. best version on youtube by far. good picture, no lag. sound wasn't to bad either, it didnt make your teeth grate together.

  • Absolutely epic! Your amazing! that just makes the hardest thing i know how to play sound like yankee doodle D; how many years have you been playing the piano?

  • tried this. Intro is hardest for me.

  • This is by farr the best video I've seen on Sephiroth's theme song piano vers.

Most of the other vids quality suck ass or the piano just sounds weird or they just suck but not youu man!! You're Awesome!!

  • good try! Can you give me some tips on practicing the piece?

  • OMFG!!! creo ke te amo jajajaj estubo genial!!!!

  • very beautiful

  • wow,wow....WOW!

  • I can't stop watching this!! :D

  • 3:54 - 4:02..... it's insanley good, I've been listeningn to that part over and over and over again.

  • NAILS, man, NAILS!

    Clip them off!

but sans the nail noise, you're good...

  • @hoan999999

My nails have always been very short. I addressed the clicking problem a year ago by getting a dedicated mic (this was recorded with the camera's boom mic).

  • or make a tutorial for this becauze it wold really be usefull to lots of people

  • 5 Leute haben den ,,Mag ich'' button verfehlt? :O

  • omg, amazing *-*

ich wish i could play this so great as you *-*

  • Sephiroth <3

  • good job. personally, i think it's strayed a bit too far from what i think it should've sounded, just needs more practice. i like that you put "(very hard)" in your title, because it really is extremely hard to play well. so keep it up. :]

  • Sepiroth is one of your subscribers miss..

  • where do you find the sheet music?

  • @fishard517

    ffshrine.org or google

  • thumbs and favourite, cause u deserve it

  • Are you a girl? You have very feminine hands...

Sounds awkward but you do D:

  • @justa16thnote of course she's a girl lulz

  • hi attin1337 i am extrealy impressed. This is in my book for learning. Check out my vids.

    Si

  • the first few page aren't that hard, i did three in two days

  • @Atin1337 sry this is my other account ._.

  • @Atin1337 I was going to reupload it on my account youre a great pianist

  • @kritikalANALYSIS

I don't really see the reason for doing this, so no. ;)

  • I would be honored if you could let me re upload this video!!!!!

  • @ElleLawlietPwnsU

Why do you want to do this? You can just favourite it or embedd it. o_O

  • Thanks. You're a hero! Finally, I can see the ACTUAL notes you're hitting. This is just what I've been looking for, because I'm learning this piece right now and I need some help on the fingering.

  • In terms of precision, you aren't as spot on as some of the other versions, but I'm glad that you aren't afraid to show us what you're playing, instead of all the side/upside down views.

In terms of precision, it may just be that your version is slightly different, as you seem to be playing thing differently than other versions.

  • @moonman190

Thanks for sharing you thoughts on this. :)

  • It looks like a sped up video Oo

  • OMG Very nice.

  • oh my gosh ur amazing!

  • Shocked that this only had 8k views!

  • I learned to first page. No mistakes... but took liek a month

  • That looks like a fun song to learn

  • agh! this is divine. amaaazing

  • O_o shooot...that was freakingly amazing!!

you know, because of you, i want to learn how to play piano.

but i think im already 15 (too old) to learn the basics!! :((

i only know how to play guitar and drums. being a pianist is amazing.

but playing one-winged angel is much MORE AMAZING.

  • @minke14

wow, dont let urself down, 15 ıs completely okay to start learnıng pıano. you can stıll learn the basıcs quıckly untıl the mıd 20s, then your abılıty to learn stuff gets slower. so ı guess you can already read sheets. then start learnıng pıano!

  • @minke14 Yeah that is BS you can start learning at any age, will you be a 3yr old asian prodigy, no, however you can still learn to play amazing music.

All it takes is discipline and practice.

@Atin1337 Dude I dont understand why you only have 9k views, your version is one of the best I've seen (in composure and quality), it wasn't perfect but still beautiful. Good job man

  • @JosephTL384

Thanks a lot man. It probably just takes time to get noticed... ;)

  • AGH!! im sure the clicking of finger nails wasnt part of the song....ty for the sheets...this might help me think twice about quiting, unless i pull out my hair trying

  • @Returacan

I got rıd of the clıckıng ın the more recent recordıngs. Bought an external mıc. ;)

  • i love how you play it so calmly 8D

it's like you've been playing this song for years!

    *faves

  • Vous la jouez vraiment d'une facon professionnel, mais je te conseille de vendre ce piano et acheter un yamaha! Mais a part ca y'a rien a dire!!!!

  • @djwane1

    c'est un yamaha. ;)

  • @Atin1337 Ok, Mais on entend le son de la touche, ............bon merci pour la video.........c'est juste une simple remarque! Merci

  • FANTASTIC!!!

  • i think your piano needs a to be re-tuned

    but but very nice preformance!!

    great job!!

  • einfach geil *-* mach weiter so

  • this is really good. your piano skills are legit

  • Wow! Great job!

  • thats BOSS

  • wow! that was a awesome!! good job!

  • 8 O

  • Oh wow, doesn't that look fun? ;) nice job!

  • omg u skipped ther bit at the begining

  • Which part do you mean?

  • at 15 sec u skipped abit if u noticed, the original is longer

  • at 0:15 there is one more part b4 u get till another part

please listen to the whole song

  • There are significant differences between the original ver and the Piano Collections ver.

  • Absolutely sublime, keep it up with more FF Piano Collections dude!

  • OW MY JEZUS!

    Dude, that was SICK!!

I caught myself in the end watching with my mouth hanging all open :P

  • just need to learn everything before 1:20...i got my notes from Ravanous, but he doesn't put in that...

  • The part just before 1:20 is really hard and i mean REALLY! Learn both hands seperately, really slow and precise. Then play them together, really slowly. Become a little but faster every day, after 2 weeks or so, you're done. ;)

  • I'm learning this piece currently and i'm having a huge amount of difficulty with it. I was wondering if there were any tips you could give me? Any at all on any part of the song? Please.

  • Well, there is not much to say, except to learn both hands seperetaly and to learn the runs in staccato and different rythms (like long short long short long or short long short long) and to follow the fingerings exactly. Happy practising. ;)

If you have any more questions, don't hestitate to ask.

  • Oh, i didn't think about trying different rhythms! Thanks! Also, is there any advice you can give me for the cord switches at the beginning. You know, when you have to switch between E octave cord thing and the E A Bflat E Cord thing so that it is even with the other cords and the runs?

  • To even the runs, you could stress them in different patterns, like you play the left hand as usual but always stress the 2nd, 4th, 6th, 8th etc note in the runs, so that you stress those notes between the accents of the left hand. Hope you understand what I mean. ;)
