Ok, I just downloaded the game TODAY, and thing is, the only units i've seen on the field at ALL are the ones used by the blue team. (dang) plus that crazy green web thing, never seen it during gameplay, im pretty sure that 2 years later they didn't DOWNgrade.

I still dont understand something: is it possible to get an ai to work here, cause whenever I put an AAI, KAI, Or TESTGLOBAL they never work so yeah....

It's the "Kernel Panic" mode for Spring, a free rewrite of the RTS game Total Annihilation. I think it looks like StarCraft meets Tron. :-)

Kinda is like Starcraft and Tron put together, 3 factions, a creature, a good, and a Higher Technological, all practically good at being able to counter eachother and involving Geothermal Vents which are like vespene guysers =P and the graphics and story Idea for tron so yeah..... it is very fun. =D

No. It is based off of Total Annihilation, which won Gamespy's Top Ten Real-Time Strategy Games of All Time in 2004, leaving Starcraft in the second place. Total Annihilation is arguably better than any other real-time strategy game to date. It does not involve three races, it involves two. It does not use vespene geysers. Also, there are no light cycles and no story ideas from Tron.

I'm sorry to say, but it is, there are 3 teams, network, hacker, and system, and I said kinda like, it's geothermal vents remind me of vespene guysers cause you can build buildings on them to deploy reinforcements, which is the only difference between them, and I worded story line idea from tron wrong, I meant basics, like they both take place within a digital universe, not a standard conflict form.

Spring, the engine which Kernel Panic runs on, was built with Total Annihilation in mind. Total Annihilation only has two teams. I swapped that detail between the two games in my head.

i can aggree with you saying its similar, however, the concept is about an invading hackers force, the defending network and the sysytem (although i usualy get teh network and system mixed up) .... the 'vents' arent giving you resorses, they just auto-spawn your army, and its not realy got any story linking it to tron ....

but either way, i still think its a great game ... aggreed?
