It's too bad the following year's rematch in the 2007 AFC Title Game was watered down by injuries. It would have been interesting to see what would have happened with both squads healthy.

no. my team went 17-2('91) and did win a championship. really 18-1 cuz the last game of the year was meaningless and the pulled all their starters but still almost won. the one game they lost was to the cowboys, 24-21, b/c dallas threw a hail mary td pass on the last play of the 1st half. and gibbs wasnt caught cheating. the 2007 patriots will never be considered one of the best teams ever since they didnt win the super bowl.
