  • Check out my vid we caught a 25 pound 55 incher.

  • Well I love your dog but hate longnose or any gar fish! :) Happy fishin to ya.

  • Vry nice :)

  • Where do you fish for gar.

  • i agree with stylensky gar used to be found everywhere in the u.s now just in the south part of it....

  • I got a dog just like Pete, mine is named Richard. He don't get kicked and anybody anywhere, and especially on my boat. Kick my dog and the kicker swims home.

  • just a question here, why do u wet that towel?

  • @liftedz71withbass He wet the towel to keep the gar moist so that he could release it healthy.

  • lmfao struggling to lift and hold 23 lbs, hit the gym buddy!

  • @Pascalr78

Post a video of you and your fish dude.

  • dude im sorry but that dog is just asking to be kicked hahaha, hes like hey whats that. 'leans over boat' POW!! "baaaaaaaaaaaarrrrrrkkkkkkkkkk"

  • i caught one in missouri if i would have turned it in i would have the state record it weightd close to 31 pounds it was 72 inches

  • wow..

  • good fish i katch 4 o 5 a day trip

  • i caught one today. are they rare

  • I have visited your website, and i saw how to make one of the lures, but approximately how much rope are you using and what are you using as the head of the lure?

  • haha that is exactly what my miniature doberman would do if I took him fishing and he makes the same high pitched noise lol. I caught a longnose gar in wisconsin on pewaukee lake but it was only like a little more than half the size of the fish you caught.

  • Nice of you to treat the fish so well. A lot of people don't. In these parts the gar don't seem to get that big...12-15 pounds would be the biggest. Hardly anyone knows how to catch them though...including me.

  • WOW BOB NICE @++ Pierre Fotier CA.QUE

  • my dad and i went to kentuckety and cought a 74 inch alagetor gar!!! it cut our steel net!... did u keep him? we didn't

  • hey that looks just like my dog and best fishing buddy skeeter he loves riding on the boat he thiks his seat is the front one and steals it from my buddys when they stand up lol

  • do u think i can catch an alligator gar in south carolina?

  • some places have them, but we mostly have long noses

  • hells yea u can but they get a hell of alot bigger than that gar make sure ur prepared for it

  • Wow. That kick-me dog is super annoying.

  • You should watch something else, no one kicks my dog!

  • @BobFrick AGREED!!!

  • now why would you wanna kick such a cool dog!

  • i like ur dog it looks like it likes fishing and its a dog that listens xD

  • Well there are a lot of misunderstandings about Longnose Gar. They are very good to eat and I am still alive. They are a very awesome fish. Just as a Bass. They mostly eat the same thing as Bass, Channel Cat, Stipes and Hybrids. Hey they are all still here. All animals have the right to their enviroment more so than do we.

  • @BobFrick I can't resist myself from telling you how GLAD I am to get this quote from you "All animals have the right to their environment more so than do we".....May you enjoy a truly AWESOME fishing experience in the future!.....;)

  • @BobFrick Hey Bob, you catch these with rope lures? There are lots of big gar's where I fish and I can never catch them, even tried with a rope lure but I don't think it was a big enough piece of rope. It looks like you don't have to set the hook with such a lure, am I right?

  • juttyboy1424 has point. nic gar though

  • ??? do you eat those things? up in missouri we kill them then throw them back.

  • You kill it...then throw it in the water....Is there something wrong with you? Whats going through your head? Like wow!!! That is the stupidest thing I've ever heard. If your gonna put it back don't kill it! If your gonna kill it, use it! Eat it! Do something!

  • Turtles gotta eat too

  • you cannot eat gar.

    first, they smell bad.

second if you dont fillet the fish properly and cut their gullbladder it makes the meat toxic and you die.

third, they're no good for the environment, like mudfish.

they eat bass and dont do anything to hep the environment.

  • Nice fish . Thanks for letting it go so future generations can enjoy the sport.

  • DUDE TOTALY WHAT BAIT ARE YOU USEING

  • Wow!Nice fish...Thanks for sharing.Could i please ask what you use for bait?I use hot dogs for gar with some success...floating hooked pieces down stream.

  • that little dog is gonna get eaten

  • love the lil dog! you do alot of gar fishing... they put up a hell of a fight

  • one hell of a gar ya got there
