If I lived closer to u, I would b tryn 2 trade u out of OLD YELLER. I think She is an AWESOME OLD BEAST!!!!!! Unfortunately, southern OHIO IS A LITTLE 2 FAR AWAY!!! Just My Luck!!!!!
@nitehawk85 You are thinking about the 5.7 liter diesel. Many people think it was a converted gas 350. Although it was a purpose built engine built for diesel, it my as well have been a converted gas engine as it did not even make a good boat anchor. It was a poor design and was responsible for turning off most of Americans to diesels for a long time. Had GM produced a quality diesel engine from the start we would probably be driving mostly diesels now.
@KeeperofTheMountain Yep, My Great uncle Hubert had one in his truck.. It was beautiful, but mechanically it was a nightmare! Its almost like GM was playing "junkyard wars" and had to come up with a diesel fast and could only use what was available. lol.. Nice truck though! I have always been partial to that body style. I have a " krylon camo" 88' Suburban 4x4 with a "fuel neglected" 350 in it at the moment.. That could change.. Its a basket case but I love it!
What year is this truck, it's pretty cool

@nitehawk85 no the 6.2l diesel wasn't a converted oldsmobile 350, it was a detroit diesel made engine when gm and detroit where partners i guess
