@dhoudwinie In this case I used virtual DJ as a 4th deck as I could not fit one more deck on my desk.

also I don't have every tune I own on vinyl so I use virtual DJ for the tunes that I have as MP3's.

I like vinyl so time code seems the obvious choice. i actually like virtual DJ as well.

Hi i have now changed my phono leads and fixed my pitch range using your videos. Thank you very much they are easy to follow and very good. I do alot of mixes for my youtube account and would like to ask you how i can record HD video with HD sound. At the minute i record with a web cam and i external sound card into my pc. i have various problems. sound quality not great and sometimes the video lags behind the audio. it would be a great help for me if u could explain how u made this video. Thnks

actually your not the only prison to ask about this, there are quite a few people asking about how to record video and audio for mixes, so I think I might do a in depth video on the subject. sorry I haven't been putting any videos up lately I've been working so much lately and I haven't had time, I should hopefully have some videos up soon.

get traktor scratch ,and the kx1 midi controler ;)with beat sync on this days even a death guy can mix.Put some tape on the beat counters and do another 4 tracks mix again

@guido69x you mean the beat counters on the mixer? because if you did there's no need to put tape on them, lol they are useless for drum and bass, also the cross fader was only assigned to two of the channels, so the beat counters only measure the channels the fader is assigned to.

and the beat counters in VDJ are not very accurate with time code.

I don't like to use beat sync its cheating so I disable it.

@viperfrank not on the mixer but on the software,traktor have a very accurate bpm counter,even have a very accurate loop (dont need the perfect timing to make a perfect loop).And a lot of djs i allready saw they just can mix using the bpm counters and the sync.In my opinion as a professional(im dj and producer almost 20 years)thats kind of lame and it takes the credits to the real djs.Keep going dont stop ;)
