  • @amygrindhouse You might want to get that checked out.

  • @DarkenThisDay what?;) the goosebumbs or my epileptical problem :D

  • @amygrindhouse Epilipsy, maybe both.

  • Lighting up a cig to this song!

  • I don't play drums, but CIS drummer always has me playing air drums in the car or just walking.

  • the drummer is great

  • i rated this one "ouch"

  • v, oh man, what if your friends find out that this band has "gay" haircuts! It's JUST HAIR.

  • @ATippaInside

He has cancer... I'm pretty sure its a wig...

  • they have gay haircuts but they're music is AWESOME

  • why does all my fave bands have to break up :(

  • i've loved this song since 10th grade (right about when 'is dead' was released). never knew they had a video for it until today.

  • crispin glover?

  • this band is BORING AS CAN BE. they were GREAT on their older CDs and their split with Kill Your Idols, but the past few years have been terrible.

  • @ekimusman2 I agree completely. The Contract: Great EP. My Favorite release from them by far. When they broke up, the singer said he missed playing fast music and he and some members from this band, and Latterman are gonna form a new Melodic Hardcore band.

  • @evolutionfilmer oh, that rules. great news.

  • in this video, kristian looks like an oldschool english football firm thug

  • this song makes me happy please dont sell out

  • LOL Avril Lavigne with her ugly ass smile at the side. I fucking hate VEVO accounts.

  • So this is Taking Back Sunday, 10 years later?

  • This is the first Crime In Stereo song I have ever listened to, I discovered them while searching for bands like Brand New. This is great!

  • I have this Album Crime in Stereo Is Dead !

    It's amazing :D

  • dude this song rocks. i found it out by my friend noah. i love this song and band and it's hard to find CDs from these guys >.<

    /watch?v=X_6FejiT3Hc

    And amazing song, btw

  • @starscreammusic your youtube name made me feel like sayin "alexisonfire" is the best screamo band out there :)

  • @benmoser11 Thew aren't scream :s

  • @starscreammusic who alexisonfire? check out their boiled frogs :) they got one song called burial and it's not screamo but most of their other stuff is

  • @benmoser11 I actually went out of my way to make a youtube account just to tell you what a moron you are. Alexisonfire is screamo? lmao okay. It truly is people like you that have butchered the amazing-ness of music and turned it into a bunch of garbage by your complete misinterpretation of..everthing. lol, alexisonfire screamo, lmao -_- diaf.

  • @billmcleer1 dude first off, ur a moron. boiled frogs is obviously screamo. lol and if they're not screamo, then screamo's gotta be some pretty heavy stuff. and it's not all death metal. trust me, i kno my music

  • @billmcleer1 listen to the old Alexisonfire stuff and then tell me it's not screamo.... :D

  • @UntilSeptember not even close. so your saying that decoder is too? cause they sing lightly too.

i see them as hard indie rock.

  • @zeromaniac96 you mean Alexisonfire is hard indie rock?!

  • definitly one of the most underated bands ever

  • @megadestructo they sort of broke up a while ago...

  • Don't act like you wish they were famous. You would just fucking complain if they became well-known. Hurr durr I knew them before they were popularrrrr.

  • Nice

  • anyone knows how i can download their songs?

  • @CelCel7 Yes, you go to the bridge9 records website and pay the band so they can continue to make amazing music.

  • 2 people are dumbasses.

  • which guitars are they using?

  • I thought Bridge Nine owned Crime In Stereo.

  • shitty sound quality vevo.

  • the ex drummer for brand new is in this band.

  • He looks British :/

  • was hat der denn für ne haarfrisur?

  • unmarked grave equals not straightedge

  • 2:02 ... jiizzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

  • This song it's so awesome that just to hear it makes me want to quit smoking, but once it ends i light a cigarette in its honor, but one of my favorite crime in stereo songs

  • o and u can find those bands on facebook..

  • they broke up cause of a long history between band members that went wrong.. they just decided to go diff ways n join diff bands...thought yalld wana know....

  • kristian the singer was in my art class.. great guy.. great artist too....he got testicular cancer his senior year... that was really rough... i really felt bad for him.. he lost his hair.. horrible...he lives a block away from me... ltown baby...if yall like this band check out our friends bands... i fold... daylight wasted.... good ltown bands too... nowhere as good as them though,,,

  • why the fuck are they wearing ties?

  • @skulleton Cuz they're jamming after a funeral in the cemetery

  • @dlinkman111

what are they doing at a funeral

  • @skulleton i'm only guessing but they knew the person in the coffin

  • i learnt to play the drums to this song (: oh how proud i am

  • the first band i ever played with...i'm so sad they broke up

  • the best band, ever. I will never stop listening to them. It's a shame they broke up.

  • they just broke up

  • @cchristopher3610 Yea, and they still won't tell us why. Do you know?

  • RIP, so glad I got to see you guys twice when I did

  • amazing song, shame they've broken up now

  • that fuckin drum beat, man. gets me pumped every time. and yeah, the song is about quitting smoking. you think one day you just wont want it any more, but you do and it fuckin sucks. i'm about to grab some myself, haha. fuck i'm worthless.. :/

  • AHHH! I'll be seeing them in under 3 hours!!!!!

  • I honestly don't get how Crime In Stereo is not famous. One of the best bands out there.

  • @Brandnewfan947 its all in the marketing

  • @Brandnewfan947

its not about getting famous ;)

they were kinda famous in the right place

  • exactly

  • @Brandnewfan947 They dont need fame, They just jam.

  • @Brandnewfan947 cause kids nowadays are into "bands" they'd rather listen to Justin Bieber, or Rappers who pollute the radio with there indescribable love for women and cocaine and Four Loko... Gotta love our generation.

  • @BZbodyboarder73 thats not all true........most people dont like j beibs....... and more people at my school listen to broken bells mgmt and vampire weekend than lil wayne

  • @vitamanj200 damn, your lucky.. most of the kids where i live worship drake and lil wayne. Gives me second hand embarrassment

  • @BZbodyboarder73 i like the older bands. not too old, but the stuff that doesn't come on the radios anymore :P thumbs up to "three days grace", "crime in stereo", "city and colour" ect.

  • @Brandnewfan947 Because the lead singer isn't like the mainstream ones, he's not some pretty boy, fuck the system, this band is incredeble.

  • @Brandnewfan947 'cause they're kind of boring. Heard it before.

  • @Brandnewfan947 "I Was Trying To Describe You To Someone" is a great album and "Not Dead" is really good too. i think this is on not dead

  • @Brandnewfan947 there way too good to be famous friend :]

  • @Brandnewfan947 - ive heard better

  • Saw these by accident at Download 2010 and was very impressed. They remind me of I Am The Avalanche and Attack In Black a bit

  • Wait, isnt this song about dying from cigerette smoking?

  • a must listen and watch they as good as weezer

  • i fuckin love this song

  • Not my favorite Crime song, but the last 50 seconds is intense.

  • Greenfield 2010 in Interlaken :-)

  • kinda remind me of Sparta's first album, good stuff

  • the drummer is my cousin's boyfriend. If they blow up i can say I have a relation to them haha

  • I've heard there supporting Green Day at Wembley on the 19th June, can anyone confirm this?

  • @TOONARMYable was a joke by spickly

  • Love the eerie feel to this song.

  • im seeing them tonight (:

  • saw them a few days ago along with the wonder years. they played right after twy.

    i'm really enjoying this band

  • So odd seeing their drummer with a shirt on. haha.

    he's such a beast

  • any of these guys straight edge?

  • does it matter? the musics good

  • considering what the song is about...yeah i think they are

  • I think so, but I'm not quite sure.

  • awesome song one of the few softer bands i like

  • I wouldn't call these guys soft. This song is definitely soft, but the band itself is really not too soft.

  • This song is so calming...I love it.

  • amazing song, amazing band.

  • @danmesaros amazing lead singers hair...not xD

  • anyone who has seen these guys with brand new on this tour, what song have they been opening with cuz that was my favorite!

  • say them yesterday in mtl and they played this song great band didnt kno them before yesterday

  • i saw them last night and they played this song but it didnt sound good

  • Ughhhh I WANT THIRCE / BRAND NEW IN CANADA!!!!!!

  • xcrime in stereox

  • hm these guys remind me of the band brand new sorta

  • Ummm they do tour with them . . . .

  • saw them last night in atlanta with brand new and thrice. quite badass.

  • great show

  • Comment removed

  • sorry, how does that prove they didn't rip them off?

  • Comment removed

  • The guys from Brand New and Crime In Stereo not only grew up in the same town but were all in the same band before any of them go big in their current bands. So anyone who says they sound alike of either one is ripping off of the other is just stupid. Wouldn't you expect members of an old band growing up in the same music scene and era to make music that is similar to each other?

  • crime in stereo, four year strong in philly!! woot woot!

  • at the church?

  • yea. but that show was a while ago.

  • was it fireworks and title fight too

  • mmmhhhmm. =]

  • personally, i thought this band sucked as a "hardcore" band. i still have their first LIHC demo. 4 songs that i didnt think were all that good. the troubled stateside blew me away though. i'm still pissed they kristian wouldnt share his old school AFI gear from the nitro warehouse

bottom lin is, these are some good dudes. who cares.

the semi original lineup has polar bear tattoos, i'll give anyone here 5 bucks if they can tell me why

  • because they are going extinct.

  • ....no

  • silent majority possibly? both bands are from long island.

  • GOD DAMN RIGHT.

  • reference to polar bear club, a band they share the bridge 9 label with?

  • nope. silent majority, a band they idolize and take MUCH inspiration from.

  • this is their best song hands down any other suggestions?

  • they arent trying to be hardcore... they probably just got tired of the old style and want to try new things... thats what musicians do

  • could care less about the change in how they're jamming now. but the matching white shirt blackpants funeral outfits and some dude crying because his bitch took the deep d the wrong way and paid with her life. carrying the casket and shit. is this my chemical bromance?

  • 1. bitch to the internetz about bands not being hxc

    2. ???

    3. profit

  • hahahahaha perfect!

  • haha, south park reference

  • huh?

  • Kristian is so hottt!!!!!! tricky boyz

  • shut up.

  • hate it or not, it honestly doesn't really matter what you think, or what i think. i'm sure they were aware that some people would be too busy calling them out for changing what they were doing to actually realize how well written and thought out their songs were. and if they really cared they wouldn't have released it, but they did. they wouldn't release something that they weren't happy with, so you might as well enjoy what they think you should be enjoying.

  • i cant stop listening to this song.. this is like my 50th time since 11 last night hahah

  • this song is great. thanks to Vans Warped Tour for selling CDs.

  • definitly my favorite song on this cd. pretty cool there is actually a video for it. I remember way back seeing these guys at the local 7 when they were giving away the demo cd's with the handcuffs on them. Seems like they have changed from those days, but still think they are awesome. Arson@563 is still the favorite though

  • Who cares if it isn't as hardcore as you're used to. The band obviously appreciates the song. Just be a fan of the band and appreciate anything they do. If you've learned anything from Crime In Stereo it's that they don't give a fuck what you think. I think it's a great song with a lot of emotion.

  • Also,i don't want bands to stagnant and peddle the same formula like some bands do but in MY opinion this is a step towards emo radio friendly wank.I not calling 'sellout' just that this not Hardcore in the true sense of what Hardcore is or represents. The are incredible musicians and capable of better than this.

  • go back to your rooots ... go back to hardcore..

    emo suxsass

  • READ THIS YOU DUMB FUCK

"Crime In Stereo, in perhaps the most "punk" move of the year, have essentially created an album full of "F**k You's" aimed at those looking for the same ol' same ol'. Some people are going to be mad, some are going to rejoice, and others will (incorrectly) hail IS DEAD as a revolution. In all likelihood, though, Is Dead will be a testament to those with open minds...." - Absolutepunk (91% out of 100)

  • Jesus fucking christ what happened to these ....this sucks balls, what happened to 'fucking up the music that i love'....turned into a bunch of emo poseurs, complete shit....im disgusted.

  • They havnt changed too much this is just more produced but their old stuff is just like this.

  • READ THIS YOU STUPID FUCK, DO YOU KNOW NOTHING ABOUT MUSIC?

"The Shape of Hardcore to Come: IS DEAD comprises some of the most ambitious, stunning songwriting melodic hardcore has witnessed in years.Lyrically, the band weave picturesque metaphors and spill forth personal and social conflicts so careful and articulate you'd think they were speech-writing for impeached politicians. Still, CIS' upbeat, melodic punk bombast remains...IS DEAD is an absolutely haunting and incredible landmark effort.

  • video is stupid. song is awesome. the whole cd is completely different then anything else. its not emo at all you fucking asshole its deeply rooted in hardcore. just because they slowed their tempo down on a few songs doesnt make them poseurs. Is Dead is a breath of fresh air in this trivial fucking scene. Crime In Stereo is an amazing fucking band end of story

  • Bullshit, they were hardcore, this is big video shit,i fucking loved this band from the get go and this goes AGAINST what THEY sung about in the first place.I have been into hardcore since 89 and have seen so many bands come and go,you don't know shit son. This is NOT Hardcore.

  • this song and ...but you are vast have got to be my favorite songs on this c.d. but they deffinately have changed. i like their old stuff a lot but this is still really good. love love love c.i.s

  • what in the hell happened to this band being good?

  • awesome band, awesome dude, love every record they've put out.

but this video is fucking stupid.

  • Thank God, someone on here who manages to enjoy the music, but not kiss the band's ass at every possible moment.

  • What the fuck I sent a reply

  • These guys stayed at my apartment after a show on Columbia, South Carolina.. I am a person that enjoys 80's rock and country music. But I enjoy their music.

  • The inflection and lyrics combined with the pain in Kristian's voice speak to the anger and fear in all of us. You're right to point out it is changing...but their music is evolving.

How does a poet reach the masses with the irony, hypocrisy and madness thrust upon us if they never get exposure?

  • I like the old crime in stereo way better. this is tolerable, but its a totally different band. :(

  • I like it as well as their old stuff. Don't worry, there's always other hardcore bands. Bands like this are sort of rare, like Brand New and Lifetime.

  • they are so under rated

but that might be a good thing

  • Underrated bands develop a better style, and work hard for their music, because they don't get fame handed to them.

  • yeah i know

i hope they never get too mainstream

  • freakin amazing!

  • FINALY HAVEE a video on this song x] thnx for uploading!
