lol I just watched this movie last night, I rented it from the library hoping to find some good J-horror..but I didn't really care for this one. They compare it to Ringu but I thought Ringu was 100x better than this.

Of course it would be compared to Ringu. Both original stories are by Koji Suzuki-san. <3 Ringu is better though, you're right.

Haha I watched this movie when I was 7.The weird thing was I didn't find it scary.I'm such a weirdo but the worst part for me was when the little girl cried because her mum left.I cried with her.

The movie is about a custodity fight between a mother and a father. The child lives with her mother alone in this old apartment. The mother was abandoned by her own mother when she was younger (like the ghost), so she tries to keep her child with her, yet a creepy ghost is trying to kill her child.
