You vegetarians think you're saving the planet by eating only things that come from the ground. I submit that we carnivores are doing more to save the planet by eating all those nasty cows. Everyone knows cow farts deplete the ozone layer, so, my answer is EAT THE COWS!!!

It's not really that easy to make good chicken fried steak and cream gravy, you know. And in some families, the tradition just isn't there to where anyone would even know where to begin. For example, I'm the first in my immediate family to make meatloaf on a regular basis and the recipe I use is from Ina Garten, not from any grandmother of mine. Don't generalize things too much. And anyway, this restaurant is a local tradition. It's been around for ages. People grew up with it.
