  • so sad to see a kid have to be on a diet :( I have skinny kids but it is probably in dad's gene pool lol. i am trying to do better on what I feed them also. Great job mommy I mean i know he gained but the point is that you all are trying.....My sister has 2 girls and had to change their whole diet and they have lost alot and look too grown for me. ONLY get fruit for snacks ever pretty much. if they say they are hungry (i do this too) we say ok well you can have a fruit or yogurt or applesauce.

  • I LUV the idea that your family is getting involved!! My youngest child does have a bit of a weight issue and so I'm trying to teach him the importance of eating healthier and excersizeing...

  • I think it is super smart that you're starting to embed a healthy plan into Hunter's life at this age. He'll learn early how important health is. Great job Robin!! Love Janine

  • Awesome that your family is in this with you :) Congrats on the 1 pound loss! Keep it up girlie! *hugs*

  • Your family is brilliant to want to do this challenge! what a beautiful family you have. Love that you are steering them in the right direction, you're the best! Todd forgot about his walk, lol. Keep perservering. Your son is just too CUTE! Blue looks good on him :) Love Sarah x

  • Leading by example is the best way to teach your family how to eat. Two of my three kids have weight issues. Fast food is here to stay and they have to learn to go to these establishments and know what to order on their own. We've gone over the different menus online with my kids and talked about scenarios - like if you went to Wendy's, what would be some good choices and what would be bad choices. Hunter might really like to do that. That empowers them when they make their own good choices

  • Since your family loves Mexican food, maybe you could interest them in preparing it at home with little differences like the N.F.refried beans, chicken fajitas? Taco night might be fun for Hunter - my grandkids love that as well as making their own mini pizzas. I know it's hard to come home from work & then prepare dinner. Can you enlist their help planning the week's menu & being the Chef for one meal? Cheering for you all.

  • Family Weigh In---brilliant!!! :)

  • Love the family weigh in!

  • Great idea with the family, mine will not do this but it would so help them! Congrats on trying to make them do the choice on there own! Kiddos to you!!

  • your son is toooooooo cute! I wanna squeeze him! although he wouldn't like that...... oh i've stalled this week and I think its eating out and carbs. I'm right there with ya sister - let's make this coming week rock!
