The native indians shared everything , money is for people that do not know how to live together in peace and harmony and compassion. For being a primitive culture, they were ahead of all the nations and empires to follow and before. Communism is no good because there is nothing but poverty and small wealth circles controlling the poor. We are approaching this kind of existence here in the usa. All this technology and futuristic existence does not mean a thing after we are gone.
This is exactly what I pictured if Jesus came here today and saw what they have done to his teachings, dude if people actually cared about what he said the 'Church' wouldn't exist anymore, since by his point of view people don't need a fucking building/institution to be saved.

@aalexmary You'd think he could have found something more important to lose his temper over than people changing money in the temple. They were only earning a living. Jesus preached to his disciples that they shouldn't worry about material things. Easy to say when other people are feeding, clothing and housing you. (Other people by the way - not God). He may look after the lillies etc. but people have to fend for themselves.

The money changers achieved an amazing trick of transformation: their lifeless, pointless, value free glass towers now ARE the temples of our time, around the globe, in almost every culture, and money became the leading religion. It now can be "made" out of itself, without producing anything, without involving humans, machines doing the trading.
The reason Jesus did this was because the merchants in the temple were making huge profits in selling sacrificial animals at a high price hence, this is a house of prayer and you have made it a den of thieves
